I'm torn! I'm a new c0 yanfei main (burgeon/vape DPS) and I can't tell if I should get her or c6 xingqiu from the selector 😂. On one hand, I'd love the ease of use from c1 not to mention how it's a step closer to TANKfei but on the other I struggled a lot during the Pyro lector abyss 😂😅
@@Quinton_ovo_ xingqiu's C6 is definitely a big upgrade! but at least he's available in the starglitter shop so if you're willing to wait until march when he appears, then you can secure his C6 there if you haven't gotten it by then :D
When using terms like "forward melt" or "reverse vaporize", in a video "especially for more beginner players", you either should very clearly explain those terms - or have a dedicated video about all of these reaction terms linked in every such video's description and then say something like "check the linked video in the description to learn what these terms mean". Otherwise this is just extremely confusing to beginners. Even I at AR60 and almost 3 years in struggle at times to quickly grasp what even all of that means when watching videos like this. Sure, it's all normal for you but just try and imagine the beginner this video is targeted at and you'll see a absolutely baffled face in front of your inner eye.
Yanfei is literally the only main pyro dps I enjoy. I'm always suprised to see her in C or D in various tierlists. I think she's fun to play and doesn't feel as stiff as many other catalyts.
she also hits for ungodly amounts. People really underrate her. She's Klee... but with better animations, better range, and Constellations that make her even more comfy to use.

She's is actually one of the most well built 4star character. all her kit works and she can fit into any team and the most important thing is she has no icd on her CA. Is just people sometimes doesn't bat an eye to a 4star dps unit
i've been playing her since her release and she's really not fitting into any team. And i dont think any catalyst one hit charge attack character has ICD on their charged attacks. She's really fun and i love playing her but she does have a lot of issues stopping her from being a higher tier. Respect to all yanfei mains

One thing i dislike about her is the range and aoe of her CA.. and her CA (like most Catalyst) took some time.. I guess it is just my preference for faster playstyle.. It's nice to see that everyone's favorite deer lawyer is still pretty good to use even after all these years. And the fact that she's very versatile and what you can ever do really makes her a very good character to want to try out unless you don't have her C4. Plus she's a sweetheart which infinitely makes her a great lawyer that you would have by your side like man her VA is super good. Overall another fantastic guide Sevy and at least Yanfei doesn't have to worry about either being in a not romance with a VERY Indecisive guy or forced to be stuck in a virtual world where she can't leave and is a jester girl. Totally not referencing 2 things at all but again great job!

My yanfei is triple crowned ❤ I love catalysts and the pyro element is very strong. I didn’t realize how few people have her built, she’s really fun to play and is surprisingly versatile with c4! I think my favorite thing about her is the reduced stamina with the seals up, it REALLY makes a difference with ease of gameplay especially as a charged-attack focused catalyst.

Well time to try and build Yanfei. I just went from no Yanfei to C6. 6 from Kazuha banner and one standard banner one. Now to hope I get at least one Xingqiu. (the one I didn't get out of the 90 wishes I saved. 2 Barbara's and a Beidou instead is what I got.) OH well loved how you explained her. I'd love if you made more of these guides.

Thank you for this! After Chevreuse's release I was looking for info on playing her with Yanfei. While I originally pulled Yanfei to help me deal with those pesky Eye of the Storm dailies early on, she became one of my favorite characters and I now play her regularly in co-op.
As a Yanfei main it brings me joy to see an updated guide and her getting some love and attention again. She was my first dps from day 1 and is still my go-to dps for anything non-pyro-related. Currently my only triple-crowned character, I hope she gets on a banner soon so I can finally get c6.
Yanfei is probably the best 4 star on-field DPS in the game, but 5 star DPS characters are just better. I used to play her when I was a new player and she was so much stronger than anyone else. But then I got HuTao and completely forgot about her lol. Watching this video makes me feel nostalgic and almost makes me wanna use my Yanfei again
HuTao is not better. Her main attack is not elemental. She needs to rush characters with her fire that she actually has to turn on after delays. Yenfai can just shoot fire all day like a machine gun causing interactions without having to proc anything. No need to switch. No need to be dependent on her burst. Yeah you got it backwards lol.😮
If you're trying to use her with Chevy I suggest a full EM Raiden. The reason it's so nice is because her coordinated attack will always hit after your fire causing it to overload for very consistent 16K damage especially if you use Raiden with a dragon's breath. The final character can be any pyro or electro because raiden won't really need any energy.
I'm glad to see someone finally making an updated guide for her and giving her some love. I've been using Burgeon Yanfei with Nahida, Dendro Traveller and Xingqiu for a while now, and it makes for a pretty solid combo. It's obviously not the most meta team, but it can still clear Abyss floors pretty well.

I like playing her with Yelan, Albedo and Zhongli, because the geo resonance is very comfy, and I'm recently having a blast pairing her with Chevreuse, Raiden and Thoma for some fun explosions. Yanfei carried me throughout my Genshin gameplay. She is still my main DPS at C6. Love her, she deserved love. Plus, she can be for Charged DPS, Shield Support and a Burgeon Support. A decent strong 4 ⭐ Genshin has ever made.

I started playing recently (like maybe 1,5 months ago) and Yanfei was actually one of the first 4* I got. Soon after her I got a random Bennet. I paired them together and I still use the two of them. They make quite a good core.
She was one of my first 4 stars and she was my main DPS for all my AR leveling up to end game. I still use her since I'm not a fan of XL and she works well as a fire unit for me. I'm always partial to "caster' types and she was the char that seemed most.. "hurl fireballs at enemies" type.
Yanfei is still my only pyro DPS- everytime I look at all the hydro 5 stars I have and wonder why pyro 5 stars never appeal to me I remember my C6 Yanfei 😎 When Chevreuse got announced I realised that my main comp was accidentally overload and the stars aligned to make my Yanfei even more powerful.

Nice.. I spent 150 wishes for yanfei and only get C3, so close to C4😢. I got C5 Xingqiu though so that's kind of a win🎉

I started playing recently (like maybe 1,5 months ago) and Yanfei was actually one of the first 4* I got. Soon after her I got a random Bennet. I paired them together and I still use the two of them. They make quite a good core.

i just built yanfei like a month ago and i gotta say, she is so fun, kit is amazing, design is unique, and damage is very good

This came in at the perfect time as I'm starting to build my Yanfei after having her in the back burner for so long (probably as a Burgeon DPS)
She was one of my first 4 stars and she was my main DPS for all my AR leveling up to end game. I still use her since I'm not a fan of XL and she works well as a fire unit for me. I'm always partial to "caster' types and she was the char that seemed most.. "hurl fireballs at enemies" type.
I've been using Overloadfei these past weeks and it's SO fun.
Her fieldtime is much more flexible and allows me to fit a Beidou skill whenever needed.
Yanfei was my first main and I still use her a lot! Excited to get her C4 this lantern rite; it wasn't even a competition
Except her high energy requirement burst, all of Yanfei's kit are quite good as a 4-star DPS.
Yanfei is still my only pyro DPS- everytime I look at all the hydro 5 stars I have and wonder why pyro 5 stars never appeal to me I remember my C6 Yanfei 😎
When Chevreuse got announced I realised that my main comp was accidentally overload and the stars aligned to make my Yanfei even more powerful.

Yeah a yanfei guide 😀 i built her really good especially after i gave her neuviellette's weapon (until i get neuviellette) and it works well on her. Yanfei is still fun to play with
