2024 is a season that has been dominated by players being wrongly sent off. The game has a huge problem with current interpretation of the rules and wouldnt suprise me if we see another ridiculous decision deciding a Grand Final.
The Leigh v London game featured two sides who both looked better than at least three at the not-so-super end of the top division. I haven't seen Warrington this year, but I have seen Huddersfield and Featherstone, and I think Leigh and London are both more than a match for them.
Yes, grand finals should always be at a neutral ground. The problem we have is that such a ground is often likely to be quite local for one team and not the other. If we're going to play the women's grand final separately (and I think both should be together) then I suggest a smaller ground which has a chance of seeming reasonably full. Dewsbury? Needs a bit of a tidy up, it doesn't seem to have been well looked after recently, but it is a modern and compact ground.
KR and Leigh, have been magnificent this season. So entertaining! However I can't see anybody but Wigan winning the final. This would mean Saints, Leeds and Wigan, (the big three) will have shared the trophy between then, I believe 24 consecutive times, which is not a good look.
