@@thelegacyofgaming2928Chandler leaving really sucks too. Chandler WANTED to stay. He changed colleges to be closer to set, and AMC just went "nah we don't wanna pay another adult salary", and ripped it away from him...and then AMC published a bunch of BS about it being amicable.
There’s always been a weird religious thing with rick like with the telephone scene in the prison for example, I suppose it could be choked up to him being crazy but I kinda wanna believe that there is some kinda afterlife in the walking dead
@@Bani0000 it's weird the show has always flirted with that idea, even if the comics chalk that up to mental illness, with Kirkman even confirming there's no afterlife in TWD.
Hershel and Dale were my personal favorites because they believed in being better and retaining their humanity. I truly believe Rick would have been a lot better off if Hershel would have survived, same with Dale.
@@Xennialgirl I personally cant agree, i think the show went bad somewhere in season 8, thats just me personally though, i did love Dale and Hershel though
They should've brought everyone else back to see Rick through like a dream or some shit Make us all cry ourselves to sleep TWD is truly a masterpiece of a show
No. They should’ve just brought someone other than SASHA. Glenn or Carl would’ve been perfect but they chose someone who I can’t even think of having one memorable scene with Rick
That "hey rick" sounded like Hershel waited for Rick in heaven for long times, looking at that dawn at farm and realising that it was existing somewhen and was beautiful, no zombies, no cruelty... Hershel was happy that rick returned to him so hardly
This is just a beautiful moment. It showed rick still remembers the past, Everything that happened. From shane's murder attempt to The prison attack from the governor to terminus and eventually the lineup. These events are just.. so good.
Not gonna lie here, having gone 4 seasons of not seeing Hershel and then seeing him again here smiling and saying "Hey Rick" honestly choked me up a little when I first saw this on TV.
The dirty sweaty guy is called rick he’s the main character and this is the actors final episode on the show in season 9 of the walking dead and he’s dying from a stab wound and is hallucinating of people who he cared about a lot on the way to this moment The old man is called Hershel he died in season 4 and saved ricks sons life in season 2 when Rick met him on his farm when his son was shot and they survived til this prison they got to which he was killed by a person called Philip aka the governor and Hershel here had 2 daughters one is dead and one is alive called Maggie and she has lost alot Just some context for you I highly recommend this show it is one of the best off all time just very long
I think that's how the after life looks like, you meet people there are already dead ,friends, family, and lovers, and made it to the next life it's feel wonderful doesn't it 😢
It's so sad that Hershel encourageed Rick to teach Carl about having mercy. Rick had mercy on Negan because intern Carl taught him on having mercy and that pissed maggie off
Hershels actor died shortly after filming this which made the scene even for emotional for the cast and crew
Yeah I know
oh shit I actually forgot he died
haven't watched it but that's sad af
Damn...
he passed away after they recorded this so how did that make the recording of this scene more emotional since he was still alive?
That “ I’m so sorry for what happened to you.” are definitely real words and real emotions coming from Andrew. He was like a father to him he said.
Same way he felt like Chandler was his actual son. Part of the reason he wanted to leave

Rip to Hershel and the actor😢
"Hey rick" hits hard😔
Although it probably isn’t I like to think that was actually Hershel’s spirit talking to Rick in that scene
Hey man there are zombies at this point anything is possible
It probably was because when Rick woke back up when Hershel had his hand on his chest, Rick woke up and there was a clean hand there

@dakotaswiger2441 same
What makes this scene more sad is knowing that this is the last time Andrew and hershal ever interact, rip hershal

Rick did everything a man could do for his family but in the end he lost his family 😢

His presence and his voice was so great scott is now in heaven with God and Jesus and his family
I Was crying most becouse rick was really sorry for what happend
Hershel didn't deserve what happened and rick didn't deserve to feel the guilt from their deaths
Hershel will forever be the best walking dead character of all time, I almost stopped watching after his death. Rip Hershel😔
I love Hershel so much
*Rick... stop yelling in my ear*
hershel was rick father figure
If this was just an episode dedicated to Rick and it was a 100% character send off it would’ve been the best episode in the series period.
