Lmao, matchmaking is bad on all versions. I can't even play the PS5 version anymore cause of some unknown error, relegated to the PS4 version.

There is no Server, it's peer 2 peer, but yes Matchmaking and Rated are busted.
I think this is great for PC players. As a console player, I am for once kinda jealous at their announcement versus ours. I think BB understand that which is why we are getting 5 MSs. I am a little surprised by the results of the survey answers, console players wanting to continue to stick with UC. We are getting to the point of critical mass with UC suits.
I do wonder how long the exclusivity we last. I was also hoping for a hint or tease of GBO3. It feels like they are maxing out the GBO2 engine with each 4 star drop lol.

They're crossing AU the line here exclusively for PC! I sort of get playing it cautiously, based on the surveys but unless this comes with a pretty significant overhaul to improve things for PC players, it kinda comes off as a gacha grab. I'm not paying for anything on PC. Not in its current state.
The UC Engage addition was a long time coming but it feels like a flub to keep that to console only.

I can play simulation, practice, and any more single player modes fine

As a Steam player, I'm honestly have a mixed feeling about this. SEED being thrown into GBO2 isn't exactly gonna be that different in terms of design language of UC timeline MS'. But, isn't throwing Freedom immediately right out of the gate is a bit much of a shock? Though PS Armor isn't exactly OP considering 700 cost is full of beam for the most part...

This is so much more work for a game tha all we wanted as it to be the same between PC and PS.
Please fix PC matchmaking and servers for the love of God. Keep SEED, I just want to matchmake without errors and not take half an hour to find a match.
GBO2 doesn't have any servers beyond one for the lobby. It's all peer to peer.
Ok now gbo2 not bound by UC only MS. So, what cost Windam and other AU grunt units if they putting it in the game?
i imagine strike will be on 400 like grandpa, considering windam is sort of an upgrade to the dagger, might be on 500 or 450

Curious. With steam deviating from console and the potential of new suits just for PC, I wonder if any console players will be drawn in to play on Steam.
Depends on the person. For me if they gonna add obscure non-UC suits on PC only I'm going to play on PC too.
you have to whale more on PC since you dont get free tokens from weekly clan missions or clan level-ups. they moved those tokens to monthly missions but its more annoying/difficult to do than the way it is on Playstation.
Litteral what im doing, iv been meaning to try our the pc version. But I really just didn't have an incentive to do so. But with the possibility of more non UC u it's coming, hell yeah ima download it

I don't think this is the right move from any angle. People who want the game to stay UC won't be happy, especially since SEED is seen as antithetical to the "real robot" GBO2 is built on. PS players won't be happy since PC is getting special content. PC players won't be happy since this presumably messes up the release schedule and isn't stuff people have been asking for like a Code Fairy port. I think the only people that will be happy about this are SEED fans who happen to play on PC and happen to want that stuff in the game. I can't imagine that would be a lot of players.
Extremely pissed off, now that means we will skip even more good events and rewards from the console backlog.

because there are two reasons, first the seed freedom movie is just around the corner & second, seed was the gundam series that popularity exploded in the west or other countries,o ther then asia

You will find more sucess in keeping player bases if you focus on fixing matchmaking. Make match making less buggy. And make the ranking system better. If you implement a ranking system based on your individual score vs your team winning or losing i think youll find player satisfaction go way up. Fix these two things and you will have longer term player base

I understand the goal of the survey, and how people answered. However, the Freedom is my personal favorite Gundam and I mainly play on Playstation. I now miss out and am forced to play Steam - where my clan mates do not play - to enjoy the suit. This feels very unfair. There is a finite amount of UC suits that the game can incorporate, so logically GBO2 will need to bring in AU suits eventually whenever the options are exhausted. Similarly, variants of the same suits thay have only minor differences cannot always be released or those new suits will feel stale and boring. Please reconsider AU suits for Playstation and include the Freedom as well.
My question is who in their sane mind asks for no changes and no new variety of Mobile suits like are they asking for the game to die?! Because those are some stupid choices from most of the console players
@m_knight-54 I am assuming that it was people who don't really KNOW Gundam or the game super well. Sure, AU vs. UC can be on different levels of performance canonically, but the game will make sure its balanced. On the same coin, there will always be banner suits that are OP and then they get nerfed - so there shouldn't be any fear in that. The only people I can understand that would've voted that way are UC elitists.... but I guarantee they'll get sick of getting dropped a "Jeagan R Type High Speed Bussy [SUC]" because only obscure mangas have suits left for them to add. And to be fair, there's already SD G Generation or whatever suits in the game so I'd make the argument that it's already too late

@@anotherbig976 Bruh Evo didn't die because they added non UC units the game died because it didn't truly grasp the human to Gundam scale and felt like playing just robot Over Watch. Also BO2 has it's own flaws with the lack of a good port to PC for the controls in combat and out of combat menus etc so if It dies its going to be because of that reason lets be real here.
I'm pissed about this, I want AU suits on playstation, and it's not fair that PC will get them, and we won't, if they don't change this they should allow us to move and accounts over to the p

So why even have other suits in gbo2 outside of UC? Why not make GBO Next 2 instead? 5% thumbs up on this video does not bode well for the news given out. Perhaps consider saving suits outside of UC for a different game?

the game is already broken due to various MS from different conflict era of the UC timeline fighting each other. Some players will be already at a disadvantage due to the power creep and gacha bs.

Nah. I like the Universal Century only vibe even though I like other timelines because it allowed them to pull obscure, niche suits and give them a spotlight. Also, the slower, more grounded combat just fits that UC vibe.
I'm not saying the decision isn't correct, but it's not the decision I would have made. Give me Late UC stuff like F91.

Been wanting a new GBO game with suits like freedom or wing, even exia.. I know GBON existed.. but that game had pay to play mechanics and was way worse with gacha when comparing it to GBO2.
Please, reconsider the finality in the Steam exclusive non-UC suits.
Just imagine running a team with the OG Wing Gundam suits against a team of IBO or 00 suits, it would be WILD. 🎉
