All good info! One thing that's helping me a lot is thinking about spending this money spread over a 1.5 year period. Booking vendors at different points in the planning process and putting in deposits at different times makes it so that the financial burden is less. Part of the reason we committed to a longer engagement instead of a shorter one.
I did a ton of research to ensure that I was getting the lowest price possible as a budget bride. I got 6 hours of photography for $945, a video of my ceremony for $450, I found very affordable signage on Amazon, a friend DJ’d for $400, etc.

Hi, I'm not getting married, but I'm planning for my 10th year wedding anniversary!! 😊. Do you have any tips or a video about vows renewal 😅? I'm so nervous... it's like planning another weeding again!
We are having a 40th anniversary luau party in August. Not a renewal, but a party. One thing to remember is that while people will often travel for an original wedding, many won't for a renewal/anniversary unless they are people who travel often ( have $$ to travel) or are emotionally super close to you. We invited mostly local people ( our church friends) to our 40th. We invited 100 people ( 40 invitations) and will be having about 60 ( 25 invitations) attend. All but 1 live within an hours drive. Just something to keep in mind. You won't recreate your wedding or necessarily have the same people at a renewal/anniversary party. I know a couple who tried to get their wedding party together years later & it didn't work. Peoples' lives & relationships change, even in 10 years. Happy planning and happy anniversary!
Another great video. I run events for my company some totaling guest counts of over 100 both internally and externally and feel 100% solid in planning my wedding however, I do NOT want to be the point of contact and go-to person on the day of. Could you do a video on day of coordinators?
