Please I tried producing my own after watching your practical but mine has two layers.
As in the down side is thicker than the upper side until you shakes it.

You did not mix your nitrosol will before adding it

If you won't to produce it next time skip the nitrosol then use one liter of h cl and half Kg of texaporn then half liter of surphuric acid. It will be perfect
