What makes Theo interesting and entertaining is that his stories range from 100% true to completely fabricated, with a lot falling somewhere in the middle...and the way he tells them so convincingly you dont know which it is.

Theo Vonn was born in 1980, his father was born in 1912. So I'm older than Theo, I was born in 1975 and my Grandad was younger than his dad.
Not exactly the same, but I was born in 1980. My grandfather was born in the 1890s, building a log cabin home for himself and his bride when he was 14. My father was born, after my grandmother went through 20+ pregnancies, in that same home, and they didn't have electricity, running water or a toilet until he was 8. Despite the home being only 50 mi (80km) north of a metropolitan area. Wild the difference in only a few generations. On the other hand I have a 1st cousin not much older than me, same side of the family, grandfather at 31, great-grandfather before the age of 50, with 7 living generations in total, soon to be 8 if the trend continues.

Pretty sure all those comics (outside of Rogan) were affiliated with ATC (All Things Comedy) which was the creation of Bill Burr. Which led to every fkn comic having a podcast now.

20:12 I think podcast started with like, don't quote me but with the likes of XM. I CAN REMEMBER BEING ON ONE NOT KNOWINGLY. We were playing Dominoes and talking trash. They were hooked up to a computer and people were requesting music online. We even set up tournaments. Gosh that was about 22 years ago. Joe Rogan started his about 2008 2009 I think.
You should watch his shroom set. The podcast he did with joey they took a bunch of shrooms and he had a stand up set right after the podcast

Theo reminds me of being 1/4 Cajun, 1/4 city and half country but where that country comes who knows. where he is from isn’t known for being overly country you normally gotta go further north about 2 to 3 hours. The funniest is when He interviews his nephews they remind you of a smarter Theo.

Nikki Glazer’s comedy is retry raunchy. She is pretty vocal about being sexually active and gets into so pretty intense details in her sets. I’ve seen a few before I ever saw that clip, so hearing her talk about soaking a small burger was honestly not even surprising. 😂 but that’s why she was so calm and straight faced talking about it, she’s just very comfortable discussing her experiences.

I totally mess with you and your content, so please take this as a friendly observation: you know what doesn't go with comedy? Questions. The stories from these comedians are meant to just be taken as-is. It's like a live-action movie, you don't watch the movie "Friday" and ask whether or not Craig really got fired on his day off. The funny part is the absurdity of it. A lot of comedians' stories have a seed of truth; their talent is building a hilarious narrative around it. Just... enjoy it. 😄
