Hello E, at last I can catch up on your videos. At the moment I’m in bed with the tummy flu so watching a lot of missed videos. I have downloaded your freebies and I must say they are absolutely beautiful, can’t wait to use them in my scrapbooks. No you are not crazy, the crafters out there that don’t watch your videos are the crazy ones, they don’t know what they are missing out on. I love all your ideas even when you make booboos. I never thought about using material scraps this way, another great idea. I loved the episode where you had a caffeine high and you were chatting a mile a minute, it was absolutely crazy, you had me in fits of laughter and it made my day. Thank you for another interesting video. 🦉🌹👍
Love your fabric collage cover and would enjoy watching tour slow stitching. I had not thought to attach paper to a fabric flip. Such a clever idea. Thanks ❤❤❤
Great idea. I'm a quilter and have scraps galore 😊. Raw edges make me shudder but I'm willing to try once 😮. Who knew that one hobby works with a new one. Thanks Edith. 😊
Thank you so very much! I enjoyed that eminently. Thank you for taking the time to share. I’m looking forward to the next part of this process hand stitching .
I love this collaged journal cover! It is beautiful. It has never crossed my mind to collage with fabric. I have loads of fabric. 😂 I am definitely going to give e this a try. Thank you, Mrs. E! ❤😊
Thank you that tag is awesome on camera you can't see where the material ends after you sew it then you can see it. The cover you made with screws is pretty I like the front of it .
Wonderful video ❤ brought back so many wonderful memories of my grandmother and great-grandmother, watching them quilt and embroider..thank you Ms. E. This is so special ❤
Love it Miss E! I started out my crafting journey quilting. I love fabric too ! Have way too much of it just like paper, lol. Thank you for the inspiration ❤️❤️❤️😊🌈
Great use of fabric scraps❤❤ we all have some of those somewhere that we didnt know what to do with until now😂. What a great idea and love that it's not perfectly thought out. ❤❤❤❤
These are just lovely! I have loads of fabric! Will have to give this a try! Thanks Edith! My story is so like yours, Mom and Dad had 8 kids. Dad was an alcoholic, but he kept working. I guess he was a functioning alcoholic. So I guess we were lucky in that respect! Mom was just wonderful! I'm thankful everyday for her, and I miss her always! Sorry for venting, your story just made me miss them!
It's interesting. I used to sew and have a drawer full of scrap pieces I use to stuff in pillow along with some poly to soften it. I use then especially for draft stoppers to put along the bottom to the outside doors so the sneaky drafts won't blow thru in winter. I stuff them with the scraps intermingled with dried beans for extravel weight and hold. When the weather gets to -30 the cold likes to find places to sneak thru. I think I'll try out a journal cover.
Would love to see your slow stitch. I wish we could talk to you when your putting things down. I was like no, don't put that fabric there...lol love the journal cover
I am sure you have many items requested but, I thought today that I have a need for one of the books used to store ephemera. I have noticed that nearly every crafter has one although I do not recall ever seeing one assembled. Just a thought in case !! LOL Thank you for sharing for all.
So I am confused, did you say you could stitch it on the machine but you were going to hand stitch the cover? Are you slow stitching? Are you going to show us how you do that? It just sounded like a beautiful application. Thanks
