      The M&P was a 9mm Major gun.

Hello, my name is jose recinos. I have the M & P Pro Series pistol. I'm going to go through production for Open and I'm adapting it for that. so that the pistol you cilce in the best way in 9mm minor you put compensator or shoot 9mm higher?

Thanks for the kind words! I have lots more footage I can upload, I record pretty much all my matches for critiquing myself, its a handy tool!
The gun started life as a 9L Performance Center ported/CORE model. From the bottom up: Speed Shooter Specialties limited/open brass magwell (powder coated anodized blue by me), Talon Grips rough texture wrap, Springer Precision extended mag catch, Apex flat-shoe trigger with forward set sear & full set of comp Apex springs, lightest ones installed, Apex plunger, etc, the trigger pack & associated parts were hand fit & polished for smoothness by me. Apex RAM unit, Speed Shooter tungsten guide rod & ISMI flat-wound recoil springs, Apex failure-proof extractor, KKM Precision "Carver cut" barrel, the barrel & extractor I had TiN coated, Springer comp slide racker, Carver Custom 3-port compensator, C-More railway red dot, SJC 90° mount.
Some changes from as-pictured in the video: It now has an Apex "Blue line" trigger and I made my own "gas pedal" or thumb rest that mounts to the SJC mount left side plate. Really getting the gun well tuned in now, still a few things I want to tinker with like different compensator ports. The trigger breaks at a consistent, crisp, short, and direct 1.5 lbs. Currently running a 115gr. major load behind a healthy charge of Vhitavouri 3N38 to get a lot of gas to work the comp. Historically ran a 124gr load with Silhouette which is still a great load and very accurate. Still some load development to play with. Absolutely need an GOOD aftermarket barrel to take this kind of abuse safely. Lots of fun and really rewarding when you do well! I LOVE the thump of the hot rod open guns tearing it up!

mytmousemalibu thank you so much! I just posted the same question on your newest vid so disregard that! lol.. you have the most amazing m&p open I've ever seen!
I've done the same to my limited pro in the trigger with the same springs and hand polishing breaking at 2.5# no ram but reset is amazing AND I've reduced the pre travel by brazing a piece of brass to the trigger bar where it bends toward the trigger so it is literally hundredths of an inch from the wall!
I've got a speed shooters ESP Magwell and teran tactical+6 extensions on 9mags...
u use the Taylor freelance 170s? how many rounds can you get into them?
