I am so glad to hear that TH-cam has changed the algorithm to allow for people who watch on their TV. I watch almost exclusively on my TV; but I do try to leave comments from my phone because I know that it helps. But that really made me happy to hear you say that. And just so you know, even if we're watching on the TV, we can still do the thumbs-up!
The fact that you remove hazardous pieces of glass that are of no use to you for the sake of the safety of wild life and humans means you always get a 'thumbs-up' from me.
I found an old Rx bottle with a chip on the lip yesterday at an old mine dump in the Arizona desert. Your tips pay off. You do what I call “wet dump hunting”.. early in the morning…ha.ha. Thanks….
I watched another u-tuber in Ohio looking for bottles at a river bank , and he kept throwing the broken bottles into the river . He then stated that the river was full of trash anyway . Brandon is at a higher level and cares about the future .
I didn't realize comments made a difference. I watch ALL your videos ALWAYS like but don't always comment. Guess I will have to remember to comment something on them ALL to! 💙💕💙
You deserve the Subscribers. You take so much care in educating and entertaining us! Clayton needs to do a cameo. Tell him "All work and no play makes Jack (Clayton) a dull boy" I am from AL and I love the history you find.
Speaking of turtles.. When I was a little girl living in Andalusia Alabama, I remember riding on the back of a huge turtle that walk up on our yard. It was literally the size of a motorized toy truck these kids ride in today. Also the first time I ate turtle and was told it was chicken by my mama.
I'm not surprised at all about 35K. You have no idea how many of us live vicariously through your videos. Just keep being yourself and we'll keep watching!
Snappers scare me too..I go to a big lake up here in Michigan called Lake Lansing to metal detect. Back in like 1914, locals caught a huge snapping turtle that was over 6', without his head. There's a picture of him in Lansing's oldest bar, the Mayfair, right across the lake.
I was headed to Tennessee this weekend and told my wife as we passed over creeks on i59 " I wonder if any of my TH-cam guys are in those creeks. Always enjoy the videos man keep it up!
Hi all, I've only been on your channel for a short time. But what I like about you is, you know what your talking about.... love it when your family come along.. your daughter will have fond memories about her mom & dad, walking in a creeks looking for precious bottles.... Cheers all... 🐨🦘🤜🇭🇲🇺🇲🤛🐨🦘
Good thing you and others are doing with bottles with no tops, making drinking glasses and further preserving history with the backdrop of the calming surroundings....👍😀🙂🕊
Hey Brandon, I found your channel about two months ago and became a fan very quickly. I appreciate that you educate us about your finds, how you go about finding sites or creeks, and what to look for in the digging sites or creeks that will make your search more productive. I also appreciate that you respect your audience and use language appropriate for family viewing. I really enjoy your content.
Hey Brandon, I’m one of those who watches TH-cam on the tv the majority of time now. Will try my best to go and give a thumbs up. Love the channel but wish your videos were a little longer sometimes! As a fellow jewelry maker, I appreciate what she is doing! Keep up the great work to you both!
That was a nice live stream dig on the Hutch Brandon. The snapping turtles get pretty big up here in Maine. Last year a friend of mine was reaching for a piece of metal in a river and almost put his hand in ones mouth. It was a close one for sure. Happy hunting and be well
I love the educational aspect of this channel. I have used your advice and located a dump site to dig at. The only problem is I don't have a digging partner. 🤦🏻♂️
New to the channel and loving the videos. I'm in south Mississippi and do a lot of metal detecting but was inspired by your videos and went on my 1st creek bottle hunt yesterday. Found some interesting vintage bottles... one was an older coca cola bottle with "mobile Alabama" on the bottom. Seeing in only 30 minutes drive from there.. it made sense to find it here. Fun fun and inspiring hunt. Keep up the great work 👍 👏
Love watching your videos. When I was younger, I walked creeks and streams in search of treasure, but mobility issues have since curtailed my walks. I am a water baby who’s loved finding things in water. Keep up the good work and fuck ‘em if they can’t take a joke.
Well I will say just this one thing. Brian you NEVER BORE ME. You have wonderful content and the perfect story telling nak. Thanks for all the adventures!
Hey congratulations on your 35,000 . You put out a good video you deserve it take care. I’ll see you in the next adventure. Keep you and your family healthy and safe.
The rectangle bottle bottom you found would make a great card holder cut down. I enjoy your show a lot, being your neighbor state, I love to see what's possible to find stay safe ; )
I just started watching your videos - I had no idea there were so many old bottles out there! Creek walking looks & sounds like fun. I'll have to get my hubby watching them, too. We are in Oregon, so we won't see you up a creek, unless you want to take a nice, long drive!
Awesome hutch Brandon. The creek is the best place to be with all the heat we're having here in the South. I have heard some old-timers say snapping turtles don't let go of something they have bitten until it thunders. Hope you and your family have a great weekend. See you in the next video.
Moscow Indiana north of the bridge east side was loaded with bottles and porcelain doll parts. The trash was so bad the owner was forced to clean it professionally. We found truckloads. Love your channel
You are so very welcome. I do watch videos from beginning to end and I cast from my phone to my TV and can comment. I'm usually doing other things while I watch my TH-cam videos and so commenting isn't always done. For that I am sorry. Keep bringing us the finds and I will keep watching and possibly comment even move. ❤🙏
Have ever cut the bottoms off the broken bottles and made stained glass windows? Or ready heavy wind chimes? You could definitely use one as the center part of a chime, and some of the porcelain/crock type things as the chime-y parts
Hi Brandon. First, a great walk today.😎 The streams are always so relaxing yet full of goodies. The grey tube you found is an old government issued flashlight. Not sure exactly how old but we were still using them in the late 70s/early 80s when I was in the Navy. The shoe doesn't look to be much older than the 70s, at most. There has been a resurgence of copy cats in the last 10-15 years. These shoes are very cheaply made so they age rather quickly. Just FYI
I enjoy watching you so much I can't begin to tell you how much ! Matter of fact I can't get anything else done. All I want to do is walk the creeks with you. Thanks for doin what you do ❤
Hello from Arizona. Out here we get excited to find stuff from the 70’s or Older lol. Just not an old state so although some of the worlds oldest Levi jeans were found in a mine shaft in az.
Congrats on 35K subs. That Hutch find was so nice. Most of the rivers around here are way too fast and deep to walk like you do. Please keep up on the videos. I quite enjoy them.
Good morning Brandon, I’m having my second cup of coffee with you. Congratulations on the 35,000 subscribers. The hutch was a nice find. Glad the snapping turtles stayed out of your way. Enjoy your week. Stay cool. Joy ❤️🇺🇸. ARROW *🎱
It all started with me finding my first bottle. Then was more interested of finding out about more bottles. Your channel popped up and the first video I saw I subscribed. Thank you for educating me love the videos to.
Well then. I'll be certain too leave at least a brief comment as well as a thumbs up. I appreciate crediting Tristan with turning you on to creek hunting. I also observed that it must be good exercise walking against the current! Sweet clean hutch...and watch out for those gator snappers....
There used to be an older gentleman named Uncle Steve, who did a very basic fishing show for kids in Alabama. I always wondered what he was up to or if he was still with us.
That hutch is awesome!! I absolutely LOVE creek walking, it’s my favorite!!! I’ve been doing it for several years and I’ve found tons of old bottles but I’ve still never found a hutch. I will though, one of these days!!! I can’t wait til it happens. Apparently the Appalachian folks stuck to the moonshine jugs & other glass bottles & must not have had many hutch style bottles b/c I’ve found everything but a hutch!! 🤦♀️
Just back from my "Ghetto", Yokohamas, exclusively a dump for downtown Honolulu Summer 1941 to 1946. The municipal incinerator broke in the Summer of '41, and was not repaired by Dec. 7th. That fun WWII phrase "For the duration" suspended most Civil projects. The old man whom operated the RR switch to that siding a mile from Kaena point was born in Yokohama, so was nicknamed that, which has stuck to the beach there. It is a several acre site, dusty and burned, miles from anywhere. The beach is a wide mostly local family beach, not so much a surfing beach. That is Makaha surfing beach, the biggest surf contest before the '60s. I only found a little metal, 5 Cents, a 1923 bus token and some "Leveright" bottles. Leave 'er right there, as I saw in a Western bottle digging book from the 1960s. I have cleaned up a Pacific Soda Works from Hilo and a painted Borden quart "Buy War Bonds" is too far to save. "Everbodies Rootin for Lyons" root beer might be saveable. A Lion is dressed like a 1930s cheerleader with a megaphone and Letterman sweater. He is named "'Ol Magnus" and Lyons was then a San Francisco company. In the 1980s I saw their stuff as a commercial restaurant foodstuff jobbers. They were operating out of Fresno by then. A semi rare variety of this bottle. The Pacific is a common embossed 7oz.
I just wanted to comment to say I loved your story ! I’m in Arkansas and my best friend just moved to Honolulu he wants me to come visit ! Good luck bottle hunting !

Awesome video if they here you They run They don't want you to hurt them . But Be safe They are out there 👍🙏👍
The hunt is on. Your tips and advice have paid off for me, found my first really old bottle. My family thinks I'm crazy.
Great save, I mean the snail. Lol
Very nice finds my friend. Thanks for takin us along.
Nice bottles, I think it's cool that you save the broken bottles as well.
I watched another u-tuber in Ohio looking for bottles at a river bank , and he kept throwing the broken bottles into the river . He then stated that the river was full of trash anyway . Brandon is at a higher level and cares about the future .

I love bottle hunting in a creek because,
The sound of the water, the view, animals you might see and the neat areas of where they are at.

I do like the sound of dirt and glass falling when you dig.
Me too!! I thought I was the only one
I'm not surprised at all about 35K. You have no idea how many of us live vicariously through your videos. Just keep being yourself and we'll keep watching!
Thanks so much!
What I like about your videos is the old houses and the scenery but also history I've learned how to date bottles and what bottles are valuable
I used to cut old bottles and make cups out of them years ago. You have some good ones there.👍👍👍👍👍❤🇺🇸
I was headed to Tennessee this weekend and told my wife as we passed over creeks on i59 " I wonder if any of my TH-cam guys are in those creeks. Always enjoy the videos man keep it up!

Pop's here. You make every trip to the creek, river are very informative. And you also show a respect for the streams, and the land adjacent to it.
Hey, Brandon! Thanks for the creek walks. It feels cool and calming.
Great! Great video. Never disappointed.
Good thing you and others are doing with bottles with no tops, making drinking glasses and further preserving history with the backdrop of the calming surroundings....👍😀🙂🕊

Your creek walk videos just feel so therapeutic to watch, let alone actually doing it. Great video like always 👏
Seeing those pieces of pottery, plates makes me jealous. I too make earrings from old dishes.. your wife is lucky to have your help.
I love the educational aspect of this channel. I have used your advice and located a dump site to dig at. The only problem is I don't have a digging partner. 🤦🏻♂️
Love the videos! Even the "boring" parts. LOL.
Lol thanks so much!

Nice hutch. Being in the water at this time of the year is a whole lot better than digging and being in a hole in the sun. Keep up the great work.

Never expected to hear that again!!! Thanks 👍

Beautiful day in the creek and some great finds. We are in a wild winter here in Western Australia so it's nice to see some sunshine. Thanks mate

Congratulations on the Hutch, been watching for a couple years and have thoroughly enjoyed the adventures!
Moscow Indiana north of the bridge east side was loaded with bottles and porcelain doll parts. The trash was so bad the owner was forced to clean it professionally. We found truckloads. Love your channel
I did my first creek walk a couple of weeks ago and all I found was a small shard of glass. But it was super fun can't wait to do it again.
Creek videos are always fun - but I bet it's even fun-er for you when you happen to find a hutch
What a beautiful Hutch! Beautiful!

Thanks James!
