How to Use KLEIN TOOL BX and Armored Cable Cutter to Cut MC Cable - JJK’s Way

KLEIN TOOL’S BX and Armored Cable Cutter 53725 is a very useful tool for me to complete my kitchen LED lighting project. With it, I can cut and strip MC Cable with easy.
In my lighting project, I used 14/2 Solid MC Lite Cable. After each cutting, I needed to use 5/16 inch Flexible Metal Conduit (FMC) Anti-Short Bushing to protect the sheathing on conductors from sharp edges within MC Cable.

That’s not BX. It’s MC cable. The insulated equipment grounding conductor (green) is never found in actual armored cable.

Put the anti short in before mc connector. You did it backwards.

Plus, that's a Romex connector, not an MC connector.

How do you load the blade into the unit? I can't figure it out and the instructions are garbage.

You have to take out the pin between the two parts of the cutter. It’s really small and unscrews out.
