Pedro Silva yeah the mustang V1.0 has a smaller speaker than the 2.0, the 1.0 has a 1x8” speaker which doesn’t sound as good as the 2.0’s 1x12”. Plus the 2.0 has a higher wattage than the 1.0
At 4:30 he talks about saving a preset. After you hit the Save button the first time it says to toggle the preset knob to decide whether you want to save it in the Red or Green bank, then you hit Save button again to save the preset. Question; if I'm setting up in Green and decide to save it. I hit the Save button, do you have to toggle the Preset knob, or can you just hit Save again if you want to stay in Green?
Sebastian Chew I saw another comment saying that when you do that you can only control the master volume. To change it to clean I just use the first preset and turn off all mod and delay and turn the gain all the way down, I’m not sure if that’s true clean tone but it’s clean enough for me lol
Yeah, this amp you have to turn off all FX and stick to the clean Fender amp models or whatever, and turn the gain almost off, and you can play kind of clean. Really it's even more ideal for blues, rock, and reverby jazz playing, and lead, but you can get some clean out of it. I have the Mustang 1 and I love it, it's a wonderful amp, and I love having the tuner built-in as well. I haven't even used it via the PC yet.

You could always run a virtual machine, www.virtualbox.org/ for instance, and use another OS that does work. It's not too hard. Or maybe it does work now, I've never bothered cause I prefer acoustic.
"remuda" on android app store will let you mess with the presets on your phone! And lets you edit the amp, to an extent cause its a third party app made by someone that had the same problem, fender took there editor library down for the m1 years ago :(

Never! Never ever plug any bass into a guitar amp unless it’s a specific multi use amp. If you do plug your bass into this amp IT WILL BLOW UP! (Not literally but the amp will be destroyed)

They're both solid state so you won't have any problems playing them at low volumes. That being said, the mustang 3 will obviously be louder when cranked.
I don't get it... starting @ 3:10 - to about 3:50 a "cool trick" is described and the MOD - DLY/REV is being actuated... some fine tuning is breezed over and I wish this point was developed further... any chance of that happening?

@@wozwalld If you have guitar with humbuckers, just switch to the twin reverb and turn the gain to 10, you will hear slight distortion, or switch to the 90s and play with the gain until you achieve the sound you want(you can start from 1 and slightly build up until you achieve the sound you want)
Download the manual and it shows you. If you can't find it, I'll look it up for you. If you buy one of these used, you definitely want to do a factor reset.
can someone help me with this problem, what wattage of transformer do use for your mustang ? because we have 220v power. i have to use transformer. i have transformer 100w max, that gives my guitar some buzz when i increase the volume.the mustang is 70w.
It's a great amp, which was one the largest Fender amp sellers of all time. The problem is, that Fender, in order to sell newer amps after the Mustangs, decided to pull Fender Fuse off of their website , so customers would be forced to buy Fender's newer models...which aren't as good...IMHO. That's lousy customer service and loyalty.
My amp is making a buzzing/static noise & it doesn’t work when I plug my guitar in. I thought it was the cord connecting them but I bought a new one & it still doesn’t work. Has anyone had the same problem?
I had a similar problem but what I did was take the straight end of the cable and plugged it in to the amp, and took the angled end of the cable and plugged it in to the guitar.

How did you manage to contact them? when I try their contact page on the website its disabled so its impossible to actually send any message.

Turn it off. Press and hold the exit button while turning on the amp. Release the button only after all lights stop flashing to factory reset.

The factory presets can't be erased, but you have many preset banks for your own modified ones.

It's not good for the speaker if you turn it up loud, but not a problem at low volume for home practicing.

I got a 3 and never play it at a high volume. That being said II is 50 watt and 3 is 100 watt i believe
