I forget if this is universal, but Q benefits the most because he receives ground throw invulnerability for 10 frames. That said, his hitbox is considered in the air so he can get airthrown(probably won't happen in a real match though). Q becomes throw invincible if his opponent try to grab him during the animation btw crouching and standing, that's why koruda crouch repeatedly all the time, for that single feature.
@@Zx14rrrrrrrrrrr they risky anyway requires you to be so close, my fav grab setup is to play defensively then ntil my opponent make a mistake like getting exposed after a heavy hit or even parry them when they're being predictable, it takes some time to learn though not gonna lie, I've been in this business for over 12 years and I'm still learning new stuffs and learning from my mistakes, there's always a room to progress. @@GentlemanQ I've improved a whole lot and I only started playing it like a month ago. I'm still very predictable so the guys that are really good kick my ass easily. But I do OK vs alot of players. I grew playing all fighting games. I just never focused on 3rd strike. Now that I play it I really like it. This and Jojo. I'm better at Jojo lol
@@Zx14rrrrrrrrrrr oh you play jojo too, jojo's and kof are relatively easier than sf3rd strike, I play those too occasionally including SF 2 turbo, darkstalkers and kabuki klash, they're all very well balanced games and you can learn alot from them, 3rd is hard not gonna lie it's gonna take some time to exclude chained moves successfully especially for low-tier characters such as Q and necro, you're gonna have hard time maining but that comes later as you grow more familiar with the game setups. You sound very dedicated and can do well already after a month of practice, there's one thing that will grant you success, consistency. Be consistent and you'll beat ass all time. That’s kinda how parries work. Unless you’re Sean you can still easily compete with high tiers and even top tiers with a lower tier character.

It was 7-4 in the early 2000.6-4 in the 2010.Now its more a 5-5 since TM discovered an invincible wake up glitch.

It still amazes me to this day that Kuroda was able to bring this set down to the final match. This is such an incredibly hard match up for Q.

Parries tend to be reads more than reactions at high levels so he probably had the sequence planned in his brain.
Charge partitioning, the game is very loose on the rules. He's probably accustomed to holding back as soon as he parries to get a follow up combo.

10先3ゲーム先取のフルセットフルマッチ、しかもゲーム展開が早い方の3rdで…集中力やべぇな。クロダのブロッキングとグラップの頻度高すぎw 3rd全体では普通か知らないけど、クロダから3rdを知った俺にはクロダが一番であって欲しいwあと騒動以来表舞台に立つ事がないからそれが悲しい。あまり露出を好んでなかったそうだけどウメハラとクーペにも出てたし誘われたら出てきてくれそうだけど、もう見れなそうですね…無念。
彼は精神的な病を抱えているから。それを克服するのは本人だけじゃとても難しい。俺も3rdとクロダファンだからクーペがまた開催できるものなら是非元気なクロダの最高のプレイが見たい。
