    Based off these highlights, I'd say Reed Stark deserves 2nd place.

    i dont understand why judges gave Reed 4th!? Hes goes high and fast sure but all he did was basic grinds. How does that compete with that crazy tech everyone else is doing. Simone did some of the hardest craziest tech tricks perfectly and placed lower. feel like he got robbed. why did reed place so high

    • @ImSmqzh
      @ImSmqzh 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thats hard and scary asf to do big grind like reed and in his 3rd run he did a HUUGE feeble gap transfert switch pegs but u havent see how his ankle pained him in his 2nd run. i prefer tech with speed and flow like broc do than huge grind without hard 3 out and shit but i can only respect the big tricks that reed is doing (especially with his injury).

  • @ImSmqzh
    @ImSmqzh 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    broc is so powerful ! i wanted him to get 1st but im not as objective/unbiased as the judges are with all the factors
    that cute blond at the beginning haha

    Favorite part of the watching it live was that one of the announcers did not know what trick is where your feet are on backpegs and drew said like atleast 3 times that lacey won best trick with tooth to over tooth... lacey won with tooth over 360. It was neyer who done did the do. I hope doyle will atleast replace the non bmx rider next year and the last banger comes back again

      Zac Trissler until you watch the entire simple session and see that he not once messed up, and was landing tricks others would mess up 2/3 times they tried it

      Andrew Andrade are you kidding me. Did you even watch his run. He is way more advanced techically as a rider. More consistent than any rider. Youre a dummy

    • @ridebmx
      @ridebmx  6 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      You're judging him against himself and that's not how contests work.

    • @TusisLM
      @TusisLM 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This is not a video part where u must see big tricks all the time. Its about points,how many tricks u do,how much use of the course u do,speed flow etc. Something garrett has understood all these years. And I think there is no doubt about his bmx skills. This guy has been killing it day after day. His progress is amazing

    • @nugenki
      @nugenki 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I used to think Garrett was overrated until today actually when I decided to watch the entire Simple Sessions. He was so extremely consistent, but not only that, he had very difficult, advanced tricks that people would mess up on 2/3 times they tried it on their runs. Go watch heat number 2 of simple session street if you care to learn.
      The fact that Garrett is highly regarded by all the judges, these media outlets such as ridebmx, a majority of people, should speak for itself.

    • @babiivo1
      @babiivo1 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually think he is overrated and judges overscore him, but this time he might have actually been the best.

    Chuprina is much better then perrin wtf judges?

    • @ImSmqzh
      @ImSmqzh 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      chuprina havent did a lot of grind and perrin was going for more tech combos (his qualifications runs were crazier)

    this guys are cool but a bad ecample for not wearing helmets.
    shame for the organisation of this event

    • @Roman-qx8id
      @Roman-qx8id 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Street guys don't use any protection
      It is because of amount of highly technical tricks where you need as much flexibility as you can
      The truth as it is

    • @ianiscaratti4924
      @ianiscaratti4924 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Тишка Кент you need flexinility on your head?

    • @Roman-qx8id
      @Roman-qx8id 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ianis Caratti helmet makes you feel uncomfortable, harder to concentrate on tricks => more dangerous

    • @Roman-qx8id
      @Roman-qx8id 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ianis Caratti and in the street head injuries are veeeery rare. Because you usually tuck and roll if something goes wrong. Helmet is a thing for dj or park, because of high speeds and big jumps

    • @ianiscaratti4924
      @ianiscaratti4924 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Тишка Кент ok I totaly understand now.
      for me this looked like a skatepark but it‘s a street...
