This is probably the best how-to I’ve come across. The editing, the animations, the examples, the detailed information… everything was perfect. Thank you for sharing 🙏
I’ve been barspinning 8 years now, my favourite trick - this video covers every tip you could think of that makes a difference! The 1 handlers helped me loads with confidence, then practice throws taught me how to catch - trial and error was the rest. To the video creator - damn dude what a video this is sooo sick I wish I had this type of learning material when I was hunting for barspin tips on TH-cam back in the day - please keep these up, we’re gonna see some crazy good kids coming up if you do a complete series 🫡😂
Honestly, that’s why I’m making these. When I was started riding, there weren’t many tutorials and being the only one that rode in my area, I had to figure a lot out myself. I’m trying to make the content that would have helped me out the most when learning
This is literally the best how too for bars. I'm pretty sure I've watched every one. I'm even a member of bike school(which is really good!). The problem with most tutorials is that they don't go over enough of how to set up the hop. The hop is completely different and I appreciate you boss for taking so much time to cover it and cover it well!!! Feet knees all of it! You're the man.
Please post this to the r/Bmx subreddit. Videos like this are great for all the new riders coming through there. Holler at the mods (me) over there if you need the post approved if you have to make a brand new account. Spam filters n all… Great video dude!!!!
This is hands down the best tutorial out of like 150 I saw. Would you maybe do a video about the hop itself? I still don’t understand how to jump while keeping my legs in the position you show?
He's back! I started learning BMX this year and your bunny hop tutorial got me from 6" to 18" in less than a week. Thank you so much for these great tutorials
Don't forget to throw the bars towards your front foot!!! I was doing switch bars my whole life and never knew. started throwing towards my front foot and it was so much more controlled.
Awesome tutorial.... I remember getting comfortable w/ them quickly then doing every version I could like one handed throw and catch and switch and even underhanded. I also do bmx trials riding to get my bike control back after a winter off so I'm kind of unorthodox.... 😂
barspin is the scariest trick I ever tried but they look so cool. I can do whips and almost double whips at our park at the airbag but barspin is the one trick that I hate. I tried it a few times on the airbag and two or three tries were good but the other ones almost killed me. This video really helps and I hope I can beat the anxiousness and try barspins flat. Also this video showed that doing it on an airbag were im 2m in the air is a really stupid idea😂
For all those who are trying this trick and haven't got it yet, don't give up and keep trying. I started BMX when I was 15 and I only did my first bars when I was 17. Don't give up!
bars is my goal for 2025, will keep this vid on loop, best i've seen so far, hugely inspirational and motivative. Wha's the next one you'll make, tailwhip? :)
Hey, mate! Your video just recommended to me and I rly happy) Make more videos like this. I'm starting learn how to BMX) and its very useful information
lmao at the "overly detailed" title... but every little bit of info tends to add up so it's much appreciated! can we get a overly detailed hop 180 next year?
I personally don’t focus on keeping my core tight. By locked in I mean to keep your legs pinched and your hips bent so your upper body stays over the bike as opposed to standing straight up and pushing the bike away from yourself
@@SlowGrindBMX I do not know the scale of cleaness you meant. It's doable and clean enough for me. Not like I'm using this possibility :D I prefer to do full-in-air barspin like you. May be I'll shoot it sometimes and let you know if I succeed.
Ditto. The best bar spin tutorial hands down.

Looks like a great tutorial. I really like your level of detail. This is motivating me to actually want to maybe learning them for the first time.
Finally, been waiting for this tutorial for a year! Welcome back!

For sure! I plan on doing a 180/360 and a manual video to cover the basics
More tutorials about BMX! 🔥👏
Just subbed this is such a good video. I might steal the format and do something similar for other skill! Great job!
The best tutorial
Yo, this is great! Subscribed!
nice. finally new vid.
Good video 👍
Rad video and channel man. Using this for inspiration for "How To's " on my channel!
Damn man, I’m beyond stoked you even watched the video. Glad you liked it! I’ve been a huge fan of your riding for years
Great video dude!
Good video! Much appreciated.
❤thank for tutorial
Cool new video😊
Бро спасибо тебе от всей Росси ❤
awesome thanks
Thank you so much bra
thanks!
BRAVO
Do you know what causes the rear tyre to slam down hard stopping the bars at 3/4s? Did you have this issue?
You’re probably standing up halfway through the throw similar to what’s shown at 7:15. You have to stay locked in
@@SlowGrindBMXthanks so much - by ‘locked in’ I assume you mean keeping core tight and legs sucked up creating a ‘floaty hop’?
I personally don’t focus on keeping my core tight. By locked in I mean to keep your legs pinched and your hips bent so your upper body stays over the bike as opposed to standing straight up and pushing the bike away from yourself
Ok thanks 🙏 I watched a clip of myself doing one and I do slightly stand up straight midair, will keep my torso more forward for now thanks :)
360 tutorial next ?
Im trying to relearn the barspin Ive lost it in 2021
its been 1 year where tf u been 😭
Lmao see ya next year
3ft goddam
There's enough of space for barspin at any height. You can do it without hop, with 1cm hop, etc..
Please show me a clean barspin 1 cm high
@@SlowGrindBMX I do not know the scale of cleaness you meant. It's doable and clean enough for me. Not like I'm using this possibility :D I prefer to do full-in-air barspin like you. May be I'll shoot it sometimes and let you know if I succeed.
Very Nice!
