    Very in depth and thorough. I feel prepared for when I buy a new Atlas in a few months.

    Great user guide, thank you! At 6:30, is that cockpit view only available on certain models/trim for US vehicles? I have the Cross sport RLine and I have all the screens except the one with the gears at the top.

      Thanks for the compliment! There isn’t a difference that I can find so it should be the same. The screen though at 6:30 is not displaying gears but rather RPM at the very top. Either way you should have that screen. The only difference could be if you have the 8” versus the 10.25” drivers screen. If so they may not have included that one on the 8” display. Again thanks for the compliment and thanks for watching!

      You’re welcome! Yes. In the backup camera picture, over and n the left side where you get the Birds Eye view, there should be a little circle with a volume and traffic cone icon in it. Click on that. That should activate it. Thanks for watching!

    Great work, but you skipped right over one which means a lot to me, which is Easy Entry. We have a Porsche and an Audi which does a great job with this feature, but the brand new Atlas Premium SEL R-Line we picked up yesterday seems to be sadly lacking. Or am I not understanding how?

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks, there’s always so much to cover, never enough time. Your easy entry/exit controls are here: click on the Vehicle icon on infotainment screen, then click on Interior, then click on seats. At this point you will be able to turn each of those features on. Thanks for watching!

      @@TwoGuysandaRide Thanks. We set this and thought it was doing nothing, and found that the feature actually does move the seat, maybe 3/4" rearward. No further, nothing down. A proper easy entry move like we have in out other cars moves the seat way back and way down. VW blew it on this one, and we will be seeking a wizard with expert knowledge of OBDeleven and other means to see if it can be adjusted to work to our expectations.

    Please explain for us what Easy Entry is and what it looks like when working, and how it pairs with each key to provide personalization. Do a new video for this feature. Thanks

      In case that video is not made for a while yet, here is a description for easy entry/exit. Easy entry/exit when turned on, will do the following:1. When the vehicle is turned off, and I believe you need to open the door as well, the seat will adjust to its fully back position, making it easier to exit the vehicle. If you have power tilt and trim on your steering wheel, it will also move your steering wheel fully up and forward. 2. Now, when you get it the car and start it, it will bring the seat back up, and if you have power tilt and trim on the steering wheel, it will re-adjust the steering wheel back to where it was. This feature can only be turned on in the infotainment screen and is not connected to the key fob, in fact really nothing anymore is connected through the key fob, but rather through the vw app on your phone. Thanks for watching.

      Incorrect. First, easy entry moves the driver seat about an inch rearward and nothing downward. It's a big disappointment. Second, no Atlas has power wheel tilt and telescoping. It's done manually and easy entry does nothing to wheel position. Easy entry and the associated key synch deserves its own video. There are currently none on TH-cam.

    We traded a '19 SEL Premium for a '24 SEL Premium R-Line and have not yet gotten the car to recognize key pairing, by which I mean pairing a key to the driver seat position and side mirror positions and right mirror position when turned down for Reverse backing. The '19 had a way to do this with Personalization where you set account names to key numbers. This is nowhere to be found. Instead, the manual (very poorly written) says to synch the key by having ignition on, trans in N, parking brake on, then press SEL in memory keypad to L of driver seat for one second or more, and then press 1, or 2, or 3. Whichever key unlocks the car when locked, the seat and mirrors are supposed to move to saved positions when door is opened. It ain't working for two keys for us.

      @TwoGuysandaRide  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That’s interesting, annoying but interesting. From what I know you would just get, in, start the car, leave it in park, make sure only one key fob is present, adjust the seats and mirrors then press set button once, then press the memory # you want, that should link it to the key fob that’s present in the vehicle. Also interesting is that from what I have seen from vw info, is that you have to actually hold the memory button down while it adjusts to that setting. They never mention the seats and mirrors adjusting when you use the key fob to unlock the car, only getting in the car, closing the door and then holding down the memory button while the seat adjusts. So perhaps it doesn’t adjust when you unlock, but only when you press and hold the memory button down? If I find any other info on this I’ll be sure to post it here. Thanks for watching!

      Please see my post at the top of the comments for more info on driver profiles

  • @TimeraMendoza
    @TimeraMendoza 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Is there no driver profiles anymore?

    • @TwoGuysandaRide
      @TwoGuysandaRide  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes there are. First make all your adjustments with the vehicle on. (Seat,radio etc). Then click on the vehicle icon on the infotainment screen. Next click Settings, then click Personalization, now save your settings, and put in a name for the driver profile, now press the back button on the top right, scroll down and under settings click on key settings and make sure it is set to Manual, then just below that click where it says assigned vehicle key to current user. Now press and release the Unlock button on your key fob. Now your key fob and settings you made before you started the process should be recognized anytime that key fob is used to start the car. Thanks for watching!

      The VW phone app is a silly gimmick, and has nothing to do with key pairing, key synch to seat memory, or any other car operations.

      I have this vehicle. The map system is inferior to what I had with my 2017 Lincoln MKZ. VW should just buy Lincoln’s map system.
