Hi Scott, thanks for your note. The GF options are good. Always tell your waiter in advance and they will accommodate you. I am sensitive to the gluten issue as I have two daughters who are celiac. Thanks!
Hi Todd, thanks for your note. The club room is a bit larger, but the swim out non-club is also a very nice room. One thing I like about the club is a dedicated restaurant for breakfast (on the beach) and a private lounge for club guests. I guess it depends on the experience you are looking for. Both options are great. If some extra perks are what you're looking for, I'd go with the club room. If the swim out has appeal, that's a good choice. There is no right or wrong answer. Enjoy your stay and please let me know what you choose. I appreciate you tuning into my travel channel, the "Getaway Guru". Please subscribe as I post one or two videos every week.
Hi Sam, thanks for your question re: seaweed at the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana, DR. Sargassum seaweed is the Caribbean is primarily a summer months issue. My video was filmed in February and there was no seaweed problem. Most hotels in the area have put nets about 100 yards from the beach that catch about 80% of the seaweed before it gets to the beach. Seaweed does come in unpredictable waves and, at times, overwhelm the nets. If this happens, most hotels, especially the more upscale resorts, are very good at cleaning and raking the beach. The seaweed problem varies in degree throughout the Caribbean with Mexico, the Yucatan, and Cancun having some serious problems in the summer. The DR, because of its location, does not have the same problem that Mexico has. While summer seaweed in the DR is unpredictable and even varies from week to week in the summer months, the Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana does a good job of keeping its beaches clean. And always remember Caribbean seaweed is primarily a summer issue. Thanks for tuning into my "Getaway Guru" travel channel and special thanks for taking time to drop me a note. Let me know how your visit goes.
How are the gluten free options

Going in July. Thank you for your review. Would you suggest club? I currently have a king swim out nonclub.
