Does NG+ enhance this guy ? I heard that he is the final boss after a original Gauntlet. And in vanilla version NG+ doesn't effect the boss in Gauntlet.
So the gauntlets are not like ur usual gauntlets which you access via an idol but instead you have to sit infront of monks and then you get teleported into the arena to fight the minibosses. Oh and also you dont get your items restored after each fight so consumeables are permanently used on each try. With this knowledge i would say that ng+ enhances this guy but i can be wrong about it. @@simit228 if you start from 0 getting to the event can be somewhat of a grind since you need all 7 p-tools he made on the previous patch but i already had them all on a save file so the only thing i had to do to activate the event was defeat father owl. But the event/this patch in general is a big grind since he made all enemies alot tankier in comparison to the previous patch. About the rewards i did not test the difference in how much more you heal with the new latent skill but having more healing is always nice, the talisman just lets you buy more items from vendors as far as i know i think it lets you buy infinite amounts of bulging coin purses im not sure if you can buy infinite stacks of other items since i never really checked for that, the curse bite doll is probably the best item out of this event because it removes all curses when you die that also includes the curse that removes your revives so you can revive even though you got cursed by isshin/geni, the cinder demon lets you reactivate the cinders gauntlet again so you can start all over again which is nice so you dont have to do another ng+ cycle to replay it and the p-tool is sabimaru but it applies "frostbite" when you proc "frostbite" it does an initial burst and also gives the enemy this cloudy aura i am not too sure what the cloudy aura does when you proc "frostbite" but i think it makes it so you deal more dmg to the enemy but i could be wrong about this so the final boss for this version in the hardcore version consists of tengu the rook into nioh the bishop so you have to defeat both in one fight to get the rewards as for the noob version i think you only get tengu the rook but if you finish the gauntlet on the noob version you will not get the p-tool and the curse bite doll (the infos about the noob version could be wrong since i never finished the gauntlet on the noob version man this was long but i hope this helps

i kinda agree the first couple of events are very vague in how you get to them while it is annoying and stupid you can use yt videos on how to reach them as for this event it is very straight forward but if you dont know how to reach it i will soon upload guides/fights to the event

@@straightinyourface5120 well with that i mean once you activate the event you go to the abandoned dungeon where you have fought the shichimen warrior there will be monks sitting in a circle in the arena and what you do is run up to them and sit down in front of them just like you do at an idol once you do that the "gauntlet" starts and you have to fight 3-4 minibosses in a succession without dying completely just like the gauntlets from the base game but be warned your items wont be replenished during the gauntlet and you will not recover any items used during the gauntlet

@@straightinyourface5120 from what i got from your message you seem to be missing the 2nd most crucial step to activate the event which is defeating father owl and as soon as you do that you go back to the dilapitated temple there should tengu standing there and he will give you a note telling you to go to the abandoned dungeon and then the monks should spawn in

The problem with lmtsr is that i never know where to go to activate the events or how to get the items. That's why i don't like it
