On really matted and dirty carpets like that do a quick run with CRB with trays on to open the carpet then vacuum, prespray, CRB and clean. I do all VLM so sometimes I need to do a bit extra to get more dirt out.

I should have had more faith in you though. I have said it once and I'll say it again you are one of the best in the business. TACT always works. Just wish other companies applied it as well. Once again , there’s a place for VLM , but it can never get out and extract what this man does with a wand !!!! Excellence . That filter at the end says it all and shows what’s really left behind with VLM,,, only suction extracts all that out.

I haven't used the workhorse, but I can say I prefer a vacuum that swivels, so my vote based off that will be my current shark. It surprisingly almost has the same amount of CFM (vac power).
Well, from my personal experience, I have owned an Amway CMS1000 (the original name of the Workhorse before the Dyson debacle) since February 1985, when I was 5 years old, and I still use it today, it truly is a beast, I take it apart every 10 years and clean the filters on the exhaust port since they are internal, and it performs just as strong today as it did the day i bought it. It doesn't chew belts like these newer vacuums. The only vacuum that outperforms this one is the good old Sanitaire classic with the dump out bag. One of these days I'll make a video of it and post it. It has "yellowed' a bit from age, but it doesn't affect it. I can say this vacuum will run circles around these sharks!!!! you would only end up with 1/4 of the CRB kickout, and if it were used in this house, that pre filter bag on the truck mount would have 3/4 less in it using the workhorse!!!! Probably 5 or 6 can dumps depending on how far you push it on the workhorse. (i gave up carpet cleaning for a CDL driving trucks, started out with a Nautivac, then to a Clarke EXT-771, then to a cobbled together homebuilt van mount in my old 1985 Chevy G-10 van that is still being used today commercially from 1998!!!)
Few different things. Unchained for pet stains, frog nasty for the heavy soil, and boosted with pure 02 to help give it a one two punch for organic staining and odors. I rinsed it out with an alkaline neutralizer.
I knew it would come out great! Be proud of your work man! Prespray is my fave step, so I'm glad I got to see it. I love when the pros pull the carpet all in the same direction when they have to rake at the end. Raking over the triangles makes it look streaky and I felt it took away from that wow factor of the phenomenal job you did. This family is so lucky to have found you. I'm sure you just earned a lifelong client!! AND kudos to them for moving their stuff so you could really get in there and show your stuff. I couldn't imagine needing to do that room with tables and lamps and couches to work around lol.

I wish we had non judgemental carpets cleaners like you around my area. My moms carpets need it BAD. Lots of pet urine and can’t afford the new carpeting yet. Last guy we had in here told us he wouldn’t do it. To just replace everything😢😢
I try not to reject jobs, but I don't know people's situation, so I try to help as much as I can. I've suggested replacement on a handful of jobs, but I always say, "if you still want me to do it. I will." The thing is when it truly needs replacement there has to be an understanding that we can only do so much and if there is a lot of liquid stains pet or otherwise. There is a huge chance they will come back and if we don't go over this. It will appear that we didn't do our jobs. It hasn't been many, but if I feel like I can make a satisfactory difference. I'll let them know that and proceed with the cleaning. I hope this helps understand our side a little, but yeah. They should have gave some better options.

Absolutely an AMAZING job! This carpet was dead and you brought it back to life. Floor was filthy the prevac was insane. The CRB was clutch and the kick out was epic. 😍 How long did it take you to vacuum? How many times did you have to dump the vacuum?

A lot of it is done one handed yes. The machine is called a counter Rotating Brush. Very helpful in bringing up additional soil, pet dander, etc for extraction. Allows a much more thorough job in situations like this. This one had furniture moved out of thr way to clean. Not a move out.

It was bleached out mostly due to not removing the cleaner from the carpet, and may have been the wrong chemical for the stain they were trying to remove which in turn can set stains in.

3 cannister dumps, and probably a solid 35-45 minutes between edging and everything else. 500 sqft of carpet.

CRB (Counter-rotating Brush) pre-agitation helps dig up more pet dander (if any) and helps massage the prespray into the fibers.

Rat Nasty, little bit of Grout master, and some Pure o2. Black Label rinse for extraction.
What chemical did you spray before you used the machine
Unchained for some pet areas, but Frog Nasty, and Pure o2 for the rest of it. Rinsed it out with Formula 99.
