Flair, when we redid our cabin we painted our interior doors nat gear camo using a boat stencil, thought it might be cool if you got a stencil and painted yours in your dux camo.
I think the problem with the spreader on the blower is that when you give it throttle the extra air flow is holding the seed in the hopper. It seems like it needs a small diverter in the tube behind the hole, maybe at an angle like a slide to let the seed ease out. Just a thought.
If that’s how he spread seed around the island you may wanna redo it. He’s not really spreading so much as throwing clumps on the ground which seems like it’ll be really patchy and not great lush even cover which is the aim.

You guys should attach the feeder on the boat to a quad or side by side and just ride along the edge it will be quicker and you don't gotta worry about stepping on a snaping turtle
Should see if hooking the leaf blower over the big metal one you first filled would work in spreading the seed that way you can still use the boat and blow the seed where it needs to be maybe hook a metal catch pan to the leaf blower under the giant metal spreader. Just a thought

when the throttle is at idle on that seed the hopper is feeding at the right speed for it thats why more seed comes out at idle than under power. add something to stir the feed in the hoper

That was painful to watch guess . little tip.drop the water alot farther and when you seed it you need to use something to make the seed have contact with the dirt and not just laying on top of it .I plant Japanese millit every year around my pond and use a section harrow with a fourwheeler and it does great and we wear the a** out.cant beat Japanese millit.if you can drop the water 25 to 30 feet y'all will not believe what kind of days you'll have .

What is happening with your blower is that when you are full throttle the air is going so fast that the seed cant fall down with that much air sence it is going so fast so when you have no throttle the seed can fall down just letting you know have a good day
Hey man if you really want to get the water down fast you need to invest in a water pump for the pto of a tractor they pump about 6,000 gallons per minute!
You could of bought alot of duck or other groceries with the money you spent on $8,000 pumps, gasoline and numerous bags of seed. Not to mention the amount of time that was spent there.

If your elevation allows set up a 6 inch siphon pipe on the dam side of the lake. It will run 24-7 and does not cost a bunch in fuel.
