Just purchased and installed this tent for my 2014 F-150 XLT Crewcab with a 5.5' bed. Fit very well. Took me 20-25 minutes to get it right the first time. The tent is very light in construction but well-built. Looks fantastic with my newly installed Bedrug bedliner. Inside is large enough for a foldout cot to sleep on and still have some space for my cooler and other items. I would highly recommend this if you go camping.
I’m not sure why a 1 hour setup time is stated. The setup that begins at 2:46, takes only about 7 minutes with very few, minor cut aways. For someone who has never set it up before, it seems like 10-15 minutes Max would be closer.
used it this weekend. It isn't too bad, wish the cross poles were more clip on and have less sleeve. I didn't push the orange strap through the tailgate I just tighten it on the tail gate hook and it seem to work well. Also it does not give that much head room great for kids or short people.
We have a 2009 Ford F-150 Supercrew Lariat 4x4 with a 5ft bed. The truck bed has a non-removeable, non-folding fiberglass LEER bed cover with lift assist hinges. The shocks hold it up at almost a 45 degree angle. Can a tent like this be installed on a truck with a hard fiberglass truck bed cover? If so, would it go over or underneath the cover and would it still protect from weather? If not, please provide a link for a tent that would work with this truck if you know of any. I see multiple pictures online, but some are homemade and other's I simply can't find a link for purchase. I appreciate any information! Thank you and God Bless!
Could you install this with a hard tonneau cover in place like the MX4? Could I fold it up to the 2/3 position, install the tent, then fold up the MX4 the rest of the way? Or leave it down for a shelf inside the tent?
i didnt think about that but probably so since it attaches to the wheel wells and under the carriage and not on the sides of the beds where the rails are. i have a undercover hard tri fold, leaving it in as a shelf would be awesome im receiving mine in a few days, will test
Change the design of the poles. Clip on is better, faster, and lighter. Just like those in north face tents. Ceiling could use more mesh for better start gazing and mesh pockets every corner. The entrance could use a lil awning like this in roof top tents as well. Just a suggestion
Hey, i drive a 2010 f15 that has a tonneau cover with velcro along the edges of the bed will that interfere with products like this? Its soft and just rolls up
No sewn in groundsheet? Will torrential rain run down the back and into the truck bed? Can't imagine its well sealed to the truck, especially when windy too. Result, one wet nights sleep.
The orange strap to the black strap attach to the orange pull pocket strap black to pocket the strap pole pocket..... Wtf??? Just get a 6x4 tent to fit bed of truck at Wallytown... Use a blowup mattress.... Jeez, that was complicated....
The Rightline tent is a good design and can be erected in just 20 minutes, but the workmanship is poor and their warranty is not honored. Mine lasted two trips. Seams split out due to irregular and poor sewing. Company will not respond.

An hour... finally an honest tent review
I give this 4 wrenches and drunk by the time it's setup. Lol
HAHAHA thinking that same thing. Give me that beer pong tailgate before that tent and ill be sleepin on top of the tent before its setup
Love the floorless design..I have a toolbox
Works great in the 8’ bed on my ‘87 F250. Takes me 10 minutes to set up on my own. Love it!
I’ve got and 88 full size bed. Would it still mount right??
Got one of these a few months ago and finally going to put it to use this coming Vetrans weekend!! I'm stoked!
Very nice! Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy the camping trip! -Zach
“Grab this yellow strap right here” **pulls out orange strap

just ordered one of these, can't wait to use it
Thank you for showing the set up in real time. Very helpful to witness!

1 hour setup? That's insane!!!!!!!!!!
Still a great option if you dont have $10k for a cheap camper.
First time is always the longest till you know your tent. I saw people do this one in 10 minutes. Nothing looks hard and should be faster.
10 min. *max* is reality.
Those straps are going to scratch your paint especially if you get a windy night.
Sweet! Great option for camping and being high and dry!
ESP high 😁
Can this still work in conjunction with a Tri-fold tonneau cover? Specifically the design where the cover folds up to a standing position.
This would be great for my truck! Awesome review as usual!
We appreciate the feedback! -Zach
Would this fit over a roll n lock bed cover? The cover retracts into a housing near the cab.
That one dislike is the person who definitely drives a Chevy

bakflip mx4

Looking for something similar for a 2019 Ranger-5 ft bed. Anything available??

Which Rightline tent should i buy for the latest ford ranger?
Hey, i drive a 2010 f15 that has a tonneau cover with velcro along the edges of the bed will that interfere with products like this? Its soft and just rolls up
That’s my question also. Looks like nobody has an answer.

Two rainy nights and dry as a bone just set it up as shown
Will this scratch up the sides of my new truck?
If there is a lot of wind, over time I could see those straps not being good for the paint. Just get a ground tent.
Will this work with a tool box?
What lift, wheel and tire package do you guys have on this truck
Supreme Suspension 2.5" level- 17" Sota Off Road Wheels and a Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ. -Justin
is it fit for amarok?
Is it compatible with the integrated tailgate step?
Since this wraps around the bottom of the tailgate when open, it probably will not work seamlessly with the tailgate step. -Zach
It’s a nice tent unless you have to use the truck to go somewhere.
The orange strap to the black strap attach to the orange pull pocket strap black to pocket the strap pole pocket..... Wtf???

What paint color is that truck?
Lead Foot Gray! -Zach
They looks like Rafe in Uncharted 4
will this work with ram 1500 or just f150s?
This should work with a RAM 1500 just fine! -Zach
big fail that the door isn't a double. one mesh layer and one outside poly layer.
Will it fit a Raptor?
This will fit a Raptor just fine! -Zach
Ah yes! Nothin' like a cozy night sleep over a 23 gal fuel tank! 😎
You must have a leaky tank,
5'5" looks tiny to me, not "full" size. 6'5" used to be the normal size.
I feel like the hour is kinda exaggerated lol
Nice but the music...
Супер!!!
Nothing like $1000+ damage to the paint, on a moderately windy afternoon, because of those straps...
Thats why you do complete PPF so you can do anything everything without worrying

you kidding me, install time 1hr? it should take less than 10 minutes.
He did say first time install. Obviously it'll take you less time once you get used to installing it.
@@nickbloodsworth4705 even first time it shouldn't take that long. I'll give a slow person 30 minutes
Will this work if I have a roll up tonneau cover?
Would this work with a tri fold tonneau cover?
Will this work with a trifold bed cover?
Would this work on a sled deck?
