I think Come would've been a better fit for it as it was more R&B than The Gold Experience, which had a more harder edged funk-rock sound throughout. Prince was in serious relationships with Robin and Carmen ( who he offered marriage to or a music career to and she chose a music career over a marriage to Prince back then) at the time Nona. Carmen and Robin lived in his home with him whereas Nona's was never allowed in his Minnesota home. . Prince actually didn't like Nona like that at all..Plus he met her while she was hanging out with Playboy bunnies so she carrier herself as such ( she didn't carry herself like a respectful girl who a black man would want to take home to mama but a play thing instead) and Prince's uses treat girls in accordance to the way they carried themselves.. therefore she set herself up for being used and he dumped her like nobodies business. He merely was helping her with her music career and walking her around in public like he did for all of his music proteges in order to make them popular because he admired her dad. At that time, Prince's serious and live in girlfriends ( like Robin and Carmen) were at home with him every night in Minnesota while young the teenage ( 19ish), Nona ( who thought she was so grown)was around him elsewhere. He obviously had Nona stay at hotels away from his home whenever she was in town. She obviously wasn't emotionally developed enough to be with a guy that old at the time because when Prince dumped her and unlike most of his exes he never had at friendship with her nor communicated wity her ever again neither so he must of really didn't like her and saw right off she was stalkerish and crazed. She never ever got over it...her obsession with him was bad and anyone online via the Prince fan forums all saw it for she posted regularly about Prince ( and how she knew via third parties what he was up to even in 2013) in many of them all through out her adulthood. Nona was really sick mentally and emotionally over Prince dropping her like a bad habit.
