This is Porsche 911 Turbo manual from 2007, the last of the Mezger era motors and nearing the end of the manual 911 Turbos. Hanz Mezger was a Porsche engine engineer and he developed the 911 engine and especially the 911 Turbo engine that was used initial 2009. These engines have become rather sought after and especially with a manual transmission. This 2007 911 Turbo in Guards Red has driven just over 52,000km. Originally from the US, this car is now in Vancouver, BC. They 2007 Porsche 911 Turbo has some nice upgrades including ceramic composite brakes (PCCB), multifunction carbon steering wheel, carbon interior package, door finisher in carbon, sport chrono package, extended Navigation module, adaptive sport seats, sport shifter, rear center console in leather, Porsche crest in headrest, and seat belts in guards red. Upgraded components include, EVO 610 stage 4 computer flash, EVO stainless steel headers, HJS hi-flow 200 CPSI catalytic converters, Milltek exhaust, and EVO clubsport intercoolers.

I had an issue with the mic crapping out. I decided it was better than no 911 Turbo video!
I owned one and traded it in for a Turbo S in 2013. Mine was also fitted with same sport exhaust. Still regretting selling it. Was the forever car indeed..
No faster car for the price. get the coolant lines pinned or welded, and the engine will never die.

This is definitely my favorite series on the channel. I like to see well kept versions of the cars I loved.
We have to appreciate the fact that Porsche provides 911s with a manual transmission.

Hey Zach, if you had a budget of 70-80k what used Porsche would you buy? First Porsche buyer here but would keep it for sunny day driving only.
A 2009 and newer 911 or 2013-2016 Boxster S or Cayman S
I'd go 997.2 turbo once the prices come back down.

Probably keep it forever. I’m putting a Ti x pipe on it and a Cobb stage 2 tune. 540hp.
Hit up markski for tuning is my recommendation instead of Cobb

Mezgers were used until MY 2011 in the GT2RS and GT3RS 4.0, to be precise.
Right on the money with the guards. I would never get it new but def used. I’m in the market for a 997 turbo and black and red are my top choices
Yea i just crashed one because a tricycle went to the highway out of nowhere and we broke the front bumper and the right fender and the radiator of the 997 turbo m😣 thank god no one was hurt
I have had this car for 3 years I still looks back at her when I walk away. AC blew out recently have to fix that.
The audio sucks and did not do this fabulous car justice, but it’s REALLY nice to see one of these cars in a color other than gray, black or silver!

Nice ride and the mods that were done were tasteful. Is it possible to get your hands on a GT3 RS, preferably the with the 4 liter to test out/review? To me that is the ultimate late model 911.

Sorry but as much as I love the 997 turbo it isn’t a forever car from the drive. Drive a z28. The last 427, an anti M3 and Alive the way a 997TT could only dream of.
Still has that crappy gm interior though
