You already figured out the true endgame: Fashion Wars 2 :D. Some non-spoilery tips for a new player: -Don't worry about which build you want to go for when the skillpoints open up. You'll get enough points to eventually unlock all skills. -You have a "Deposit All Materials" button on the top right corner of your inventory screen. It sends all crafting materials to your material storage, which has 250 space for all crafting components by default -As soon as you're high enough level and unlock the ability, salvaging unneeded gear is better option than selling them to merchants. Salvaged resources can then be deposited to forementioned material storage -You may have noticed the energy bar above your weapon skills. Revenant's profession mechanic is that it generates energy and then you use it by using non-default attack skills. Also some utility skills (You'll learn about them later) consume energy or hinder its generation.
A basic QoL, if you left-click on the chests and such popping up in the lower right corner most of them get opened and deposited automatically. It makes things a lot faster since you avoid the interface to open them.
Always hit the "sell junk" button at a vendor and check out the "deposit all materials" button in your inventory. There is so much for a new player, this will be a great journey for you.

21:00 I just wanted to clarify that the dings you were hearing around this part were from the hearts popping up (I think you thought your hits were missing due to the sounds). To elaborate, when you get closer to a heart on the map, it will make that ding sound as a way to notify you that you're within its zone. So during this time stamp, it was dinging as you were moving in between two hearts, causing them to ding each time you entered their respective zones. And yes, as someone else commented, you can get speed buffs through various ways. Sometimes from your own skills, sometimes from your traits, or your gear, etc. I actually just realized right now that there's a ton of ways of getting more move speed lol
Oh, you can get a HUGE inventory, 14*32 slots. 448 slot inventory. Massively expensive though. Both in real money and in gold. Ressing people gives you a meaningful amount of XP, everything rewards you, even picking flowers. You can only miss if your character misses by pointing away, so, doing so is fully on you. The only way mobs in the path can avoid getting hit is if they're in evade or block/parry mode. You can only change weapon skills by changing weapon. Eventually, I think at level 10, you get access to weapon swap. Also, the 1 on most weapons is a chain where hit two and three have progressively better effects. The chain resets if you use any other skill opr takes too long to finish it though. You lower your damage massively unless the AA chain is allowed to complete.
@@MMOMainFrame ´No, you buy bag slots from the BLTP and then you make the 32-slot bags via crafting professions. Majorly expensive. I've just made 28-slot bags. They are a LOT cheaper.
@@MMOMainFrame You also only get access to this particular bag in the Icebrood Saga DLC. Between each expansion, there's a Living World season that carries the story forward. You get s1 for free and every season after that also brings new maps. If you have from season 2 to Icebrood Saga you can do The Seasons of the Dragons Achievement which rewards you with am Ascended weapon, a 32-slot bag, a free precursor for a g3 Legendary weapon, and aa free Legendary necklace. That achievement has the highest value of anything in the game.
It's kind of a nuisance that GW2 doesn't really have the kind of tutorial that teaches you anything beyond the most basic, move around with awsd keys, kind of things. One super useful thing to know is that if you type /wiki and something in the chat window it'll open the wiki to the relevant page. E.g. /wiki revenant And the wiki is the most thorough I've seen in any MMO, so you can look up stuff like what combo fields are, and how combo finishers work, etc.
there is a way to get a speed buff ( attacking and walking) the walking speed buff is called swiftness and the attack speed is called quickness, so look out for those. Anyway you can still use impossible odds from the assassin legend to increase your walking speed even during combat or zones the mounts are not allowed
@@MMOMainFrame thats a good way to get a grasp of the game since vet tends to forget most new ppl dont have access to the elite specs right out of the bat, just stick to read the skills descriptions but at least consider the legendary assassin since is an early QoL for rev players most new players stumble across really late in the game and test every weapon the game trow at you during your leveling experience commander.

Probably already said, and figured. But skills 1-5 are tied to the weapon type, 6 is heal, 7-9 are utility and 0 is the elite skill, 6-0 can be chosen to what you want. Weapon skills can't move around! Enjoy the journey :)
@@MMOMainFrame You should really go into your options and fix your keybinds. You can set almost any action to any key or key combo, or even mouse buttons, but your basic weapon attacks (number keys 1-5 in the default set up) and utility skills (6-0) are something you're going to want to use all the time and it's really going to be a drag to have to mouse click on the bar to activate them. You can search TH-cam for videos with recommended settings set-ups, but almost anything would be better than what you seem to accidentally have started with. You could do worse than just telling it to reset to defaults.
@@MMOMainFrame cool. Everything changes based one what weapons you equip, and in the case of Revenant what "stance" you're currently in. You begin with Legendary dwarf, but eventually add other legends you can swap to during combat in order to change your powers and utility skills completely. Learning those is what makes Revenant usually considered an advanced class, but one handy thing is the first utility skill (6 in the default binds) is *always* going to be your heal skill.
