I understand why you’re nervous about anesthesia. She’s so little bitty! But if she’s getting ear tubes, you won’t regret it. Her ear infections will pretty much come to a halt, and even her speech will likely develop better. (That’s how it worked for my niece, anyway.) You and she will both be so much happier. Just be sure to get her good fitting ear plugs if you let her go swimming.
I was so panicked about my grandson getting ear tubes because he was born with some serious health issues and had some major surgeries but the two thing was like nothing. He was barely sedated for barely 5 minutes.
Man I remember those days and my kids are grown. I get tired just watching you. Glad to say I made it through but am still catching up on my sleep 10 years later
I understand not wanting the surgery but...both of my kids had so many ear infections, ruptured ear drums then finally surgery..not an ear infection since..that was decades ago. Blessings 🙌
Don’t put their shoes on till you get to wherever you are going. My son was 14 months old when he had tubes. Then at 3 he had his tonsils and adenoids removed. He is 34 and hasn’t been sick since. I personally feel the procedure is worth it.
If the water from the refrigerator taste moldy, you need to have the filter on the waterline on the refrigerator changed.. moody tasting water is not a good sign. It could make you all sick.😢
Make lists. Write out a standard step-by-step checklist of routine activities, such as "leaving the house", "getting kiddos to bed", etc. Then write down your "must-do" tomorrow, things like doctors appt, school or school activities and church, etc. Keep the lists where you can see them. Pinned to the wall near the door you use to leave the house, or kitchen, family room or bathroom and use them. This season is going to last for a minute, and this is great tool to help you eliminate a few of the issues that can create stress for you and the children.
Comments on post with suggestions promote this channel that’s the way it works. Yes having children any number at any age is a daily challenge. When I tell people I had twins at 40 people gasp…well my dad was the youngest of 14 93yrs ago. I wish my granny would have shown us all how it was done. Suck it up, buttercup.
If you even think brown recluse then get your home sprayed! Now about the huge smile on your face when you got a little break from the kids! Keep that for sure!!
My child was 2 when she had her ear tube surgery. I was also concerned about the anesthesia but the alternative was prophylactic antibiotics and break thru infections indefinitely. She had the surgery and never had another infection since. She's 33. ❤
Add cereal to the babies milk... It's on the kids aisle with the milk it says cereal it looks like weighltless oats.. she will begin sleeping all night.. also put cod liver oil in her bottle and give the other little girl cod liver oil...Im a black woman and im holistic i hope you trust me with this information the cod liver oil will stop all ear infections going forward
It is hard to describe my admiration for you. All my problems now seem microscopic but I still struggle to carry on... You sir are great at what you do and thank you for showing it to the world!
Maybe letting the kids load into the van without their shoes on would save you an extra 5mins for something else. I mean, how dirty could their feet actually get, going from home to vehicle?
When i was younger I had way too many ear infections the doctors were concerned that I would possibly go deaf and need surgery, i started wearing earplugs while showering and or swimming or really anywhere near water, and not kidding I legit didn't use earbuds or headphones for a long while, and guess what. Im perfectly fine still pretty susceptible to ear infections but i didn't need surgery and I'm not deaf if really, I have too good of hearing. It's normal for ear infections when younger as ears sometimes develop rather erratically. No worries you're doing amazing remember to take some dad time too.
You are doing a fantastic job dad! You should be proud of yourself. The kids all love you and they all get along & mind very well. You’re very dedicated and just plain awesome keep up the good work. We all love watching you and remember those days when all of our kids were really little. ❤❤❤❤
It's obvious that your anxious but think how much this will help her making her life better and in turn yours, as a parent that's how I look at it even though mine are adults now, x❤
✅✅✅ I hope you see this. I had a girl and a boy. My husband hated to take our daughter into the men’s restroom because how nasty he said it was. He had options with me. You do not. This is what I did: I purchased a portable potty, and kept it in the back of my vehicle. Keep small trashcan liners (you can pick up some from the dollar tree) to encapsulate the bowl of the potty in the bag. For urine I would throw paper towels in to help absorb the liquid and could have a bowel movement on top of that. Since you have a minivan, I would even encourage getting a diaper genie and keep it in the back. (strap it down with the bungee cord to the sidewall). That way you don’t have to get out to go find somewhere to go. I kept a spray bottle of alcohol and wiped l the potty down after they used it, and put that in the bag with the other material. I cannot tell you how much peace of mind because we never had to worry about that. In public spaces in which you have to take your daughter, please be sure to have a spray bottle of alcohol for ready grab. I also layered so much tissue around the toilet seat that it was barely anything left for next person. Lol. Protecting the girl.
In the 70's my Dad put a home depot bucket in the back of the van. Bags and paper towels....actually, probably newspapers. You do what you've got to do with little ones.
You are doing great don’t worry about mistakes ? No one is perfect ! We are in our 50 and still learning. Just keep learning it’s a part of life experience ?
Same boat with my toddle.. I’m trying my best to not have surgery.. keep her nose clear as soon as you see mucus.. it’s helping my toodle not to get infections. She’s also taking allergie meds (Flonase, centrizine)
osage orange trees have commonly referred to " monkey balls" they are green wrinkled balls from the tree..when dry they emit an odor that is offensive to almost all bugs..and they are non toxic. i hope you read this..theres plenty of them usually in the country.. too messy for a yard tree. good luck, i lived in the woods for years..also get large plastic or glass containers or coffee cans cuz the mice wont be far behind.
@Danielle, well, TN was on my list of places to retire until I read your post. I HATE spiders - especially ones that hide in shoes and can cause bodily damage if they bite you. 😬
When my oldest was born he had ear infections for the 1st 7 months of his life. At 7 months he had tubes put in which eneded the infections. He has been great until a few months ago and has to have another tube put in. Hes 31 btw. Your baby girl will be just fine.
My son likes coffee (3 years old) so I give him coffee to induce poops if it has been a couple days. My great aunt used to give her babies suppositories so they would poop before church and not AT church. So I really don’t feel bad about giving the coffee.
Not sure if you have the same fridge, but if you do then you need to get new lines for it. The reason it tastes like mold is probably because it has mold and mildew in the lines. Suuuuper unhealthy.
My daughter had 7 ear infections in 12 months. We had tubes put in and then she was a whole new kid! Anastasia was scary to me also. No fun when they are coming out, but a few hours later she was happy and eating like nothing happened. So much better in the long run than antibiotics every six weeks! Please let us know how it all works out.
My youngest son was 6 months old when he got his first set of ear tubes and had them replaced almost every 6 months until he was maybe 9 and still had to have them replaced once in awhile
You cant just be the "fun Dad " , teaching is a huhe part of parenting, like not taking shoed off in car, pocking up after themselves, etc.. Should parent both ways😊
Mommy of course. The channel’s name in confusing………………he is definitely not a solodad. He only vlogs the moments he has to take care of the bunch. In real life mommy does all the house work and manages the kids.

My son needed tube's as well, tons of ear infections. I was against it at first for these reasons but in the end it was the best decision.
@Couplemoore @wendoxia @kend4427 Just curious, were any of your children in daycare? Or their older siblings in school?
That run out the grandparents door at the end, yelling “bye” with the biggest smile…I felt that. Lol
Couldn’t run away fast enough lol
Definitely deserve a break eh! Props to you I don’t even have kids, you can handle so much….
Me too!

Occasionally the inner part of your ears will swell causing moisture and or water to get trapped causing infections.
Sorrry about all the reply's lol, but don't stress Im sure that your youngest will be just swell. But my best wishes and hopes are out to you!

I'm from Texas and hearing I have a problem with brown recluse makes me want to stay in Michigan.

What is the back story....anyone know?😮
That's what I have been asking... And No one knows I guess
I would like to know too!!

No dairy with sinus and/or ear infections. That will only make it worse.😮
Use a spoon to dig out the formula scoop.
My son likes coffee (3 years old) so I give him coffee to induce poops if it has been a couple days.
My great aunt used to give her babies suppositories so they would poop before church and not AT church.
So I really don’t feel bad about giving the coffee.
There are other natural more healthy ways to do that. Coffee at 3 is completely unnecessary and also very addicting but ur kid, ur choice🤷🏾♀️

I haven't watched this guy's videos for long. Curious what his story is
My now adult son had them done twice abd was fine after that. He has never again had earache.
