I am happy for its second season. It is not the greatest but it was a nice watch and I specialy enjoyed Fran and teachers relationship like a parent and a child. It also helps that unlike most isekai it has little if not cero fan service, witch can be tiring most of the time, so it helpd with the more pure and holsume experiens.
The closest thing to fan service I remember was that she said she wasn't wearing underwear and then had to go shopping for underwear. It leaves a lot up to the imagination, so it's not really fan service imo, but I can also imagine that some people would see it as such
If I had to guess what the episodes are gonna pertain to the first 2 episodes of season 2 will probably be the floating island. The next episode will probably be Self-contained, Then we'll be the Island ark. I highly doubt season 2 will go beyond that because a lot is covered in the island arc if not they will skip that entirely as Cut content and go straight to a major event. I really hope they don't do any cut content with this series it is just that good and deserves the entirety made into anime form.
Season 2 would be occupied with three story arcs before they even get to the Tournament. If it is the webnovel, there are 2 major arcs before the Tournament, but the LN version of the plot added an extra volume with that 3rd story arc. So the soonest that Tournament could occur would be Season 3 I can see why merchandisers in any production committee would like the events of Season 4 or Season 3 to be crammed into Season 2 because they don't want to wait on selling the interesting merchandise. The items in the upcoming three story arcs prior to the Tournament arc don't seem to be so great for merchandising unless they figure out more ties like how the anime "Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi (Campfire Cooking in Another World)" even influenced the design of the actual online store for home and kitchen utility items as well as food items and consumables.
