Delighted to meet Viola Jeri 🥰…that porch 🙌🏻, I certainly do not blame anyone or anything who just wants to hang out there. It was interesting to hear about your plans and how many of them played out in the end. You are so full of life and creativity. Thank you for showing us how to make those beautiful plant markers. Have a wonderful week sweet sister.
Love the new puppy and the plant marker project, too! Idea books and garden journals are such fun to look back on, to see what worked and what plans actually came to fruition.
Thanks, Jeri. I got some giggles about the ducks and chickens on the porch...and the turkey story...and the rooster run-in. Never at dull moment at Jeri's house and garden. 😄❤🐕🐓🦃🐔 Enjoy the waning days of summer. 🍅🌽
I love your creative vision. I find this place you have created to be like Heaven to me😊. I love the animal calls and get the tiredness part this time of year.
I know just what you mean,Jeri. By this time of the year the gardening season comes to an end just when we need it to. Giving us ample time to reflect and plan next year’s! Enjoy your rest. Though I’m sure you’re never really resting. 😀
What fun it was looking at all of your collections and sweet things in the porch!!! I love looking at everything. What a sweet cozy place. I also loved looking at your notebooks!!! I just love your videos. I made a bunch of spoon herb markers years ago. I still have some of them, but sold most of them in the shop. I like the fact the words don’t wear off and they stay put…unlike the plastic markers. What a precious baby…Viola!!! I love her!! I have a feeling she had already won your heart ♥️ Thanks for such a lovely video 🌻
Hey Debbie, I remember paying about $5 for the spoon markers in a garden shop 15 yrs ago. My talk about having a shop makes me think of your wonderful store... . Of course, mine would be quite small
I just love your videos! I love your content, I love your farm, flower gardens, your animals and home. I love your voice! It’s so pleasant, calm, and relaxing. Your videos are so peaceful and bring such joy to my heart. ❤ I could watch you everyday! I so look forward to each one! Thank you for sharing your beautiful world with us 🥰 I just got my metal stamping kit, what perfect timing! We could be such good friends if we lived closer. ❤
Awwwe thank you so much for sharing your notebooks Jeri. I’m so happy to know it hasn’t been a waste of time for me to have kept mine also. It is a joy for me to look back and know that it is perfectly okay that some things never came to fruition. I’m okay with that!!!❤
Never a waste of time to keep those old papers and books. The notebooks were pretty messy sketch-wise, not my usual persnickity drawing style, but I think most ppl appreciate sketches drawn on the spur of the moment, so I shared them as is.
Thanks for sharing the method of stamping the spoon plant markers. I always wondered how that worked and what the "stamps" looked like. Glad to know I am not alone in sketching ideas that don't often make it off the page.
Wonderful video! Viola is such a a cutie! She is getting a healthy respect for the chickens. 😄 the spoons are adorable. Thank you, for the tutorial. That's such a wonderful idea. It's wonderful to dream and plan for all of the things that we want to do on the homestead. God bless and keep you always. 🌷💗
As always, you have one of the best productions of videos I think on TH-cam you always do a beautiful job and I always enjoy watching your videos. Thank you again watch from the beginning to the end.
What a delightful little girl. So beautiful. I have been moving plants around that have struggled in their past location. I also purchased a few clearance plants/shrubs to add autumnal color. Today, I cleaned the porch and rearranged it to put my table and chairs back out. The weather is finally cool enough to enjoy being outside again. God bless.
Oh my goodness. You covered a lot. I love your puppy. She’s beautiful. That craftsmanship talent on the spoon markers….. is absolutely amazing. So cool. I love “imagination on paper”. I went right to my very own garden sketchbook that I wrote a while back. Thanks for a great video. Blessings.
I love looking at all your "stuff" - that is a compliment. :) And so happy that you got a puppy for your other dog. So, so sorry about the demise of the previous one. :{
I love those dogs..we lost both of ours within a year. Our male weighed 150 and was part akbash and pyrenees. He was definitely a gentle giant. Loved everyone and nothing touched our chickens, ducks, or geese. He scared many a person by his bark and his size. I miss them both so much.
Welcome Viola❤️she is precious. Thank you for showing us how to make those markers. I’ve already ordered the letters and am looking forward to making some. And as always thank you for sharing!💕
Hi Jeri, I can’t wait to see you get honey from the bees! My father raised them and as a kid it was magical to see the honey come out like liquid gold and the very best for me, even today, is a big square of the honeycomb, I LOVE to eat the honey like that, to me, it’s natures candy and I enjoy to use it in coffee and tea as well. That’s sort of funny about the attack Turkeys 😊. That castle like addition was a good idea for the house. Wow! I love the plant marker spoons, what a great idea as well as a garden gift. the snowball puppy is cute! Thanks for making another great video ….. Cheers! Brian

I thoroughly enjoy all your videos. This was because it is so peaceful. Adore Viola - she is adorable. And I love your sketch books. How fun to keep that all.
Oh my! That dragonfly hanger at 4:41 was a bit of a surprise. I just bought two of them at a yard sale last week for .25 each. Was originally planning to use them in my daughter's room, but they may find a home in the garden now Garden journals are treasure troves. I spend my winters looking over mine and creating new sketches and ideas for the future. Now to find that old silver plate. I last used it to make a windchime for my mom. Hi Jeri ! I agree with you about summer ending and we just had enough of the garden! I was out pulling weeds and flowers that are tired too. Hello Jeri, I have not commented for a while but I am a faithful watcher for sure! I appreciate all the time you spend in making these wonderful videos for us to enjoy and be inspired by! Oh my word! Little Viola is darling! Loved your spoon craft. They add such a special touch to your plants! Porches are just the best things. I love going out on my back porch early in the morning. It’s so quiet. Well, except for my neighbor’s young rooster that roosts on top of my husband’s work van and tries his best to crow.🤭 Your porch looks so inviting! Loved the turkey story😆

Wonderful to see another video Jeri. How I enjoy it so.❤ Sounds like we’ve been on the same page lately as far as our feelings of the joy of gardening yet glad to see summer come to an end. Gardening is a lot of work & with this year’s extreme heat & dry weather, it was not as enjoyable as in previous years for many of us here in middle GA. So Come on Fall!🍁 With the heat outdoors, I’ve been putting my energy into cleaning out closets in the last week & just got started cleaning out & organizing the garage…(until about noon when the temps rise.) What a great feeling to get rid of things we’ve accumulated in excess or haven’t used or needed in years. Now I don’t dread opening up a closet & there is organization in the garage…still working on it, though.) In order to do a good job, I had to think “If I were to move, exactly what do I need?” That sure worked. Next I’ll be waterproofing my front porch as you do every year & then I’ll decorate for Fall. Congrats on your new puppy. (Now that is one thing we don’t have in common…animals. I don’t want anymore pets after losing our two dogs the last 2 years. All our relatives & kids live out of state & now we have the freedom to come & go when we please. Nice feeling😊 Your GA gardening friend
Last year I took piles of STUFF to the Goodwill with exactly your sentiment in mind, it was nice to have a thinned out closet and drawers. Fortunately, we no longer have to travel, (after years of shows) so having all the animals is much easier; I don't have to hire a pet sitter anymore./
You could sell the rabbit fence and spoons I think. I made just 2 similar rabbit pickets for a fence to replicate yours and it was tedious and I stopped but I love your rabbit fences. I enjoy best your walk arounds, even on the porch. So many treasures. September is my favorite month when the humidity clears, the sun lowers and shines across the meadow grasses, and harvesting seeds.
Hi Jerry from Laura Heal in Alberta Canada zone 3-4. I hope to try making the silver spoon plant tags….what a great idea and they look so charming. Good luck puppy nurturing, she looks like a real sweetheart. I hope you do open that shop one day.
Oooh I love her name...Viola. She's beautiful Jeri. I have wondered how they do those spoons. They are so cute and look fun to try. Thank you for sharing that. It was interesting seeing your journals. Back in the day I use to do them and here in the past few years I've been doing them again. The more gardening I do the more I need them....age might factor into that a wee bit, lol. Did notice a thatched roof on your studio in one of your drawings? That would be so cool. Have a blessed week and thank you for the lovely video. 💜🦋🌷🥀
Everything is so lovely. All the flowers are so beautiful! Your porch looks like a wonderful place to spend time. I wish I was better at keeping notebooks and journals. I've started many but then get sidetracked so they're still mostly empty. I never had much talent at drawing either. I'm more of a copy cat, and love to watch what others do. So, regarding your shop, one thought might be to create an area where you can give lessons, and perhaps sell prepared kits which might include some of your art work. Drawing or painting lessons, craft projects, gardening lessons, or just do demonstrations, or perhaps book readings with afternoon tea. You could perhaps plan the events well in advance so people could travel there, and have very limited groups of 4 or 6 or 8 who could come by reservation at very specific times. And perhaps hire a videographer to video the events so you could share them with us online!! Just a thought. I do enjoy all that you share with us already. Thank so very much for all you do! And yes, the puppy is so precious! I know you're going to enjoy being a puppy mama again.
When we built our HUGE barn, 1/3 of it was meant to be my shop/ gallery. I had planned to conduct workshops for many different crafts: Papercutting, Fiber and even creating books. That is still a strong possibility since we no longer travel to shows. It is a spacious barn, perfect for a large table and display shelves. The donkeys only take up 1/3 of the space. Of course, I would need to CLEAN it, lay a real floor and put up walls. Maybe this winter.

Sweet new puppy!
I can't remember how many pickets I cut for the fences, but it was over 200!
❤🌷❤
Your new puppy already has a darling personality. You sure can tell she is a girl by the way she acts. So demur, lol!🐕🐶
LOL, my husband really likes your comment.
Adorable as usual. Did you say Tower of Pizza? lol My kind of tower. ☺❤💚💛💜
LOL! Mispoke I meant the Tower of PISA
Me too come September I’m over the joy of gardening….too hot and things look as tired as I am.
Well said!
❤❤❤
Would love to sit on your cozy porch with a cup of tea! 🫖
lovely!!!
Hi Jerry from Laura Heal in Alberta Canada zone 3-4. I hope to try making the silver spoon plant tags….what a great idea and they look so charming. Good luck puppy nurturing, she looks like a real sweetheart. I hope you do open that shop one day.
Be sure to get a lot of spoons, I always mess up the first few>
Привет Ддерри! Мне понравился твой старый блокнот.
I had big dreams of a thatched roof....
❤❤❤!!!
@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow That sounds like a lot of fun! I know whatever you choose to do will be booked up.
❤
Jerry you can buy Queen LURE scent a wild Queen may fly into the hives or lemons grass essentials oil as a lure scent.
REALLY? Gosh, I would love to attract wild bees instead of paying $200 for packaged bees.
