- Here is the secret to a crispy skin roast pork.
3 lbs pork belly washed and cleaned
2 tbsp. grated Garlic
2 tbsp ginger grated
2 tbsp. green seasoning
1 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tsp. salt or to taste
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp. Trini jgm Chinese seasoning
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp. white distilled vinegar
1 tsp salt for skin

I forgot to ask in my first comment if the distilled white vinegar is an absolute must or not. I have both apple cider vinegar and coconut vinegar from health food stores on hand. Could they work? for this recipe?

Add some oil 1 inch, in a large pot and cook the skin until crisp.

@@anandramnarinesingh4219 no no water bath is needed, if you dont have a broiler you can turn it down in a cast iron pan when its almost finished baking and that should crisp up the skin.
