Love those walkabouts especially in the dark. You'd be a great ghost storey teller Ste.. How the bloody hell did they get those boats down those tiny alleys... Top Vlog mate.. 👍👍👍
I just love these dark and shady parts of nighttime Blackpool. You. Still find unknown. Passages and surprises. Great stuff Stephen 😁
For someone who does not live in Blackpool, I found this video fascinating. Great editing skills outside MaKelleys and at 15:00, the elderly couple walking in the street, hilarious. Some of those dark alley ways are incredible creepy. Fancy that not one boat, but two boats down a dark alley, (stolen maybe), as it looked like they were trying to hide it. They could be legitimate. Amazing back alley discovery video this one thanks Stephen 👍
I realize now why I ditched my TV licence. Fascinating and insightful commentary on a place you not just know but love to the bottom of your heart.
Probably won it on bullseye 🎯 🤣 just brilliant. I'm glad you had your security guard with you, I worry about you out in the dark up backstreets, really enjoyed this video Stephen thank you , and thank you to your friend xx
Thanks Angela.
These night videos are your best videos Stephen Love it. Stay safe 😀
Great video 😊 , at same time it's heartbreaking that young Charlene had walked down them roads too back then . God bless her soul. Even I wasn't aware of the backstreets of Blackpool ☺️
This is what i love to see Steve, the nitty gritty areas of city's that other vloggers won't show. It shows the reality of what actually is going on in the UK and how the working and low income class actually have to live. Keep up the great work
Glad you enjoyed it Lucy. Many more to come!
Another fantastic video sir! I love these!! It gave me peace of mind knowing you weren’t on your own to be honest. Keep up the great work 👍
Thanks for your update, Mr walk on the wild side. No joke right they should make you The mayor of Blackpool. I'm now going to watch your other video a walk in the Town. Thanks again 💚👍.
Another superb and very interesting video, thank you Stephen and your lighting friend. Best wishes.
Glad to hear you had company Steve..♥️
Fantastic video Stephen.
Love the walk about at night around these small dark alleys .
Brilliant stuff Stephen.
Hi Stephen like the videos of blackpool you do I know blackpool vert well but did not know about the back streets and allers you have shown us keep them coming
Absolutely loved the night time walk around,I was glued to the tv screen, very very interesting video, more night time videos please....
that was a really good mural at the end.....cheers Ste for your walkabout
Hello Stephen, another chilling video, so glad you have a friend with you as you just don't know what's going to be around the corner. I love the part with the couple you said hoped hadn't been out clubbing. That's what makes your videos so good, little bits of fun inserted into what could be a quite scarry video. Thank you very much for doing this for us. Best wishes from Glasgow 🙋
This was fantastic! I like many others on here like this kind of thing, and it's reassuring to me that you have someone with you in case things get wilder than you'd like! One thing I would say is watch out for cctv cameras at the private addresses you didn't know about, I saw one staring straight at you when you was looking at the boats, especially that one up higher than street level. All in all, a brilliant night time street video! Thank you 👏
My favourite videos stephen
Back alleys and side streets. Couldn't stop laughing at the boats 😂
Interesting video Stephen but do take care. Good to know you had someone with you.
When I was seven or so in the 1950s in north Withington, Manchester, I used to explore the grid-iron streets of Moss Side. These alleys in your video remind me of those days. Many of the terraces looked like a downmarket version of Coronation Street (on TV). I remember some of the smells in the back alleys - dog poo and human pee. It's all been knocked down and new housing put up. Moss Side is Crack Cocaine Central these days. I'm glad I now live in the homely fresh air and fun of Newcastle.
Brilliant video! Love these types of videos and how they contrast with the others! Fantastic stuff - happy Easter!
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I love it when you go up a back alley Stephen, very exciting. I laughed so much throughout, you and your friend are hilarious. You bounce off each other so well, you are the new double act in town, Cheatley and Chum 😂😂 Thank you for making me laugh until I spat my coffee out, yet again 😘 xxx
Thanks W xx
@@AWalkontheWildSideBlackpool 😘 xxx
The car accessory shop that used to be on the corner of Rawcliffe Street & Bond Street was called Motorcare and had a sister shop on Redbank Road.
Wow great video Stephen love the night walk abouts glad you had ya mate with you , the old couple was so funny you make my n8ght when I watch your videos ty stay safe 😀
Loved it , another great video , glad you had someone with you , especially going down those dark alleys , xx
Hi, Steve. Love how you find beauty in decay, dude. At 5.58-9.18 I thought it was gonna go all David Lynch, Mulholland Drive 'Diner Scene' 😂. Great work, pal.
Another great video ,love these walk abouts ,thankyou , Blackpool's gone so down ,like everywhere now sad ,
The back streets of Blackpool omg, then on the front buzzing, hope you've captured full moon tonight, wonder if the cobbled st, is "undoubted " , dont know if you've heard of that term, great vid
Loved the walkabout Stephen, I remember going to the new market in Waterloo Road via the back entrance, also the last street you walked down with the mural on the wall, was also the back entrance to the market next door to the new market. Great memories thank you.👍
Thanks for this vlog Steve. Very interesting. Loved it . Take care 🙏
Hi Stephen thanx again good to know u wasn't alone.😁

Looks scary with them ruffians about 😬
Enjoyed your video very much Steven it's so surprising what you see in the back streets even boats . There used to be a coffee bar on bond Street called the cave I wonder if you remember it Stephen it was down stairs in the basement

0:46 I thought it was a traffic cops video lol lovely work Stephen I’m impressed
Good walkabout, I love the colours of the night sky...
🙂👍🏻🌌
Great video Steve 😁fascinating 🖐
Great video Stephen, I really enjoyed that, all the best!
This is fabulous. Love your style. So interesting. I’m a southerner with a yearning to move up north. Got my eye on jobs and one day soon…
There are loads of southerners who have moved up here, so you will be in good company.
Ma Kellys ..hilarious ....you do fantastic commentaries Steve
Blimey Stephen, another cracking video, always interesting never disappoints 💪
Glad you have someone doing the lighting with you
Interesting to note in your vids how Blackpool seems to be able to self police its streets without an overbearing police presence. Also you seem to be able to film without confrontation.
Nice to watch 😊
Great vid Stephen, funny as hell ,glad to see you have someone watching your back. Take care my friend.
It was a very lovely sunset tonight got some cracking photos along the prom
So glad to see you have company on your latest explore Stephen 😊 Whilst I know you're local, some of the places you visit do look a bit sketchy 😬 I wonder if your Tesco express is anything like ours - in ours, there's a security guard on weekends, and the staff wear bodycams! 😵 Thanks for another great video! 👍
Stephen that was brilliant, love the night videos and it was so funny x
Always reminds me of a ghetto .... I had a shop on bond street and lived in Ball Street ... Incredibly creepy place to walk back and forth to ... Now I live in a small village in Yorkshire .... I don't miss Blackpool South shore one bit ... Be careful out there
so many memories ! thank you
Love this vid Stephen......looks really professional !
Thanks a Brilliant Video From Blue
I love your little mad bits. Like the old people dance, and all the voice changers 🤣
Got to slip in a few funny edits ;-))
Love your videos my friend is look forward to seeing them keep them coming 😊👀👀👀👍👍
Brilliant as always Stephen you are brave walking in they streets at night glad your not on your own, your a legend in many ways, keep safe buddy , Moray, Selkirk, Scottish Borders, Blackpool is amazing not as good as the 70s and 80s but its still a special place in my heart 👍👏👏👏🧡🧡🧡 keep safe m8 and take care , respect
🙏
Hi thanks for yet another excellent video, please take care of yourself I would be to nervous to walk around some of them street's

Best wishes to you.
Love the backstreet videos , always fascinating .
Great vid Stephen love the way you change your voice over makes me laugh.🤣😂😍
I always like to add a bit of humour Pat.
I know tourism in Blackpool has taken a down turn in recent years but there must be a fair bit of money coming into the town - so what on earth are the council doing with the revenue - some of the streets could be really nice - St Bede's for example - it has the potential but lack of funding seems to be the problem . Blackpool has the potential to be a really good place for a break but the back streets - just a stones throw from the sea-front are dire . C'mon Blackpool council - pull your finger out . Just down the coast shows how good it could be . Blackpool is unique - the tower alone is a landmark that stands out and I find it appalling that the council seem quite happy to pick up wages without doing anything to benefit the town - building car parks won't bring in the tourists while a shanty town exists just around the corner . I think Blackpool is brilliant as long as you stay on the sea-front . Sounds like a rant I know but Blackpool holds a special place in Lancashire history and is worth preserving and not letting it fall into decay . Brave man Stephen for venturing down the dark alleys and good sense to have a companion .
Hi Stephen. I was talking to a manager at 'Spoons and they closed the Gavel some time after the Velvet Coaster opened as the two were too close together to be viable.
But it was called The Auctioneer when Wetherspoons had it. It became The Gavel when they sold it but now it's closed.
@@JohnHughes2002 Yes, Thr Auctioneer! I stand corrected.
Love the night time videos , please keep them coming .👀
Will do!!
Hi Stephen thank you for another great video as always well there's some interesting sights when you come off the prom lol bond Street was very quiet a ghost town every place has its good parts and bad parts I dread to think whats behind the scenes where I live take care xx
I stayed in that area of Blackpool a few years ago, and it seemed like a food desert. That Tesco Express was always cleaned out of anything remotely fresh. I loved it, though, especially Beth's Pantry cafe (like unintentionally stepping into the 50's/60's).
Another cracking video Stephen.
Glad you enjoyed it Les.
Interesting in a scary way! 👍
Another top video Stephen, I reckon that boat came off Bullseye.
You can't beat a bit of Bully.
Great walkabout...
I'm not even from Blackpool and over the past few days I've just been finding myself binge watching a man walking (or cycling or getting a bus) round Blackpool. I'm off to Lytham festival in a couple of weeks and I think I'm more excited about it finishing so I can go to Ma Kellys or The Bull! God, I love TH-cam rabbitholes.
Glad you found me!
Last year my mate nearly bought the ex hotel 'Touchwood down St Chad's road, there was a fire a couple of years ago which gutted the downstairs,he backed out last minute realising the work needed,
It would be interesting to see if it is still on the market
You are very brave to go to some of these back alleys Stephen they were very scary. Interesting though thank You
It was busy tonight on the trams there is some big groups of youngest from Glasgow in town the trams were packed
Amazing night vlog footage on drone is lovely and your a bit brave in the back alleys and be careful those silver canisters there lethal things
Thanks kkrispy.
Drone footage was indeed excellent, reminded me of the footage from '999: What's your emergency?' Great stuff Steve!
@@number6ix929 Thanks Alan 🙏
Glad you have a Minder, err I mean Lighting Engineer with you! I thought I'd tuned into High Plains Drifter at one point.
More of these please.
I had music in my head just from the title , Tony Christie's in the avenues and ally ways lol
Stayed at at a B&B in St Bebe's about 10 years ago. The owner was about to retire. His was the last remaining hotel in the street and was once surrounded by many others.A couple of years later I checked and it also has been converted to residential
Another fascinating tour Stephen. Do you remember about 40 years ago on Bond Street, a basement cafe which also sold second hand records, it might have been called he cavern?
Love your videos 👍👍
I’ve got a feeling this video will go viral. Walkonthewildside gives you an unbelievable selection of videos. 👍
I hope so!
This is why he won the no1 Blackpool vloger vote, just dont mention it if you bump into Rick of Beyond the Edge fame though lol
@@cliffcook3993 I don't think Rick is a big fan tbh.
Ricks content is Chris Higgitt that’s it.
@@duncanletts3015 I'm probably on my own but I'm not a fan of Rick and definitely not a fan of Chris Higgitt he's all about self promotion does my head in lol
I was thinking I wouldn't fancy walking down the back alleys on my own very wise to have a mate with you
“Please believe meeeee” big up dale outside ma Kelly’s 😂😂
Very entertaing video Stephen thankyou.Pity Blackpool council can't spend some of the 61million granted for sea defences on cleaning the backstreets.Take care 😁😁😘😘
I love it when the season starts. But no what I hate that all these junkies and alkies ruin the real old blackpool where you'd never fear walking through any street.
You were brave going in that back passage.
I love blackpool i live in bolton and bring the family as much as we can
Love the videos u do , theirs loads more around that area bk of station rd , bright st should be called shight st really 😆
Great explore
Wow great video took me down memory lane bid time
Big time
Glad you enjoyed it
Great place to visit is Blackpool lots to do for families couples + lads or women's weekends away but I know there's massive drug n alcohol problems amongst population in back street bedsits n flats + homeless people
Is you lighting engineer, the chap with the torch? Haha.
Another great video buddy.
Thanks pal.
Amazing again
Great video cheers 😅
