Amazing! Thank you for sharing. I've made a second video and squiggoth using Mr Snuffleupagus and also one of your industrial-grade bipedal trash compactors. Awesome models! All of your models are excellent! Thank you.
@@thehermitworkshop2913 I went ahead and looked at the second one. Good work on that as well. Glad the Industrial-Grade compactor came in use as well. One other thing. I did put up 6 other poses for the mammoth if you wanted to use them. They are on the same upload page.
@@EmanGameplay they're awesome as well! I actually only found them after reposing the body in mesh mixer but to be fair the aim of that video is to show how you can pretty much repose, squash, flip and adjust almost anything in the program. Thanks again for sharing!
I've had a few people ask for the file. Would I be able to upload the STL of the kitbashed squiggoth's to my cults page so others could get it? I am not sure if I can upload it specifically as a "remix" like on thingiverse but I will absolutely credit you and link the originals in the decription.
An absolute unit! I honestly always wished the actual GW squigoth had a more "squiggy" face so the design choices you made for this beastie is absolutely outstanding! New subscriber for sure.
@@thehermitworkshop2913 like.....it's not a bad model, but if GW didn't call it a squig I'd wonder why it was a 40k thing, it looks like a Warhammer fantasy lizardman model
I agree so bad with what you said about the lack of sculpts for having a unique army! I am finding myself with the same problem lately. God bless kitbash
The print lines are distracting. Why not base it in a pva type of hodgepodge prior to laying down a primer? Looks good. Really like how you did the eyes and painted transparency of the bulbs. Over all it looks too shinny and would greatly benefit from knocking it back with either a matt spray or a very light drybrush with buff, but that would likely draw more attention to those print lines. keep up the awesome work and thanks for sharing!!
I'd agree the print lines on the armour are particularly noticeable. There are "smooth over" compounds specifically for fdm prints so could definitely have gone over the armour with that prior, or even a filler spray prior to priming. Also shine wise, I am also unhappy with how shiny the inks and washed made it. I did apply a matt finish but I'm not satisfied with the results. Anyway, glad you like it and thank you for your comments! More to come and always keen to improve
Man this model is truly awesome! any chance you would share that STL file? I have zero skill when it comes to soft where like mesh mixer and id love to have one of them especially considering FW discontinued there gargantuan squigoth just as i was going to buy one!
No problem! cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/gargantuan-big-mouthed-beast-with-tusks? I've spoken to the guys who made the models I meshed together and they said was fine to share. It is naked though as in no armour besides the helmet. This is because the armour is from GearGuts mekshops patreon which I would 100% recommend if you have a 3d printer. A model a day for 25 days every month without faill, ranging from grots, unique heads and guns to giant stompas and tanks.
Really well put together video :D .... I don't mean to back seat drive. If your getting frustrated with your auto focus, have a look at the your aperture on your camera. it's one of the things I had to figure out. I tend to just do 11. gives you a bigger focal range. If your not frustrated with it, then disregard this comment ^^ I look forward to more videos.
Yas! Thank you! For some reason I had it in my head that it was the other way around and it didn't even click! I just assumed was cos I was so close to the subject! Small hole bigger depth... small number means bigger whole, that's whats thrown me. I want the iso to be as low as possble but it becomes irrelevant when its so out of focus! Thank you. Next video will be in focus!
@@michaeltwycross5233 ha! Totally! I technically have been told this.... a few times.... but it was always with other elements like ISO white balance blah blah and I thought bigger hole = more light = more focus. I got it now! Small hole wide depth! More light needed. Boom! Next videos gonna be so sharp it'll make peoples eyes bleed.
If you DM me on instagram I'd be happy to share the file for the squig. Can only share the naked squig though as the armour and howdah are from Gearguts mek shop and Tersus.
Hey there. I'm the Uploader of the Disorganized Mr. Snuffleupagus. This is some really impressive Kit-bash work. Glad it came in handy.

I love the build, but I think squigs should be a fun bright orange, not a blood red.
There can be more than one squiggoth. Next one will be orange. Deal?
