Hi, very new to DCS. Thank you for this video.I downloaded this mission. I have the latest version of DCS ( now 2.9) Not STEAM. I put this .miz file into my mission folder. But when I open the mission folder in DCS I cannot see it. Do I needa pre-requisite scenery ?. I just have the basic sceneries installed and I have the latest F/A-18C module. Can you explain where to put this file into DCS. Thank you.
Yeah no problem. Hopefully I can help. You do need the Nevada Test Range map. Otherwise you should be able to put it in the mission file and it'll come up
I had this mission on an old hard drive and now can't find it anywhere. Is there anyway you could send or post the mission file here please? DCS does't seem to have it anymore. Thanks

Easier than the "defend the russia" style mission you get with FC3 Sukhois. Damn those Amraams on the F16s, damn the wingman who always goes high and radar up and dies in a fireball, damn the US radar.
16 gb ram for single player and 32gb for multiplayer gpu with at least 8gb vram and prob more than 192 bits cpu with around 6-8 cores ssd around 1tb headtracking or vr good hotas a mic
The first thing to consider is how youre going to play. Do you already own a monitor you plan to use or are you going full VR? For example you can have a very good experience @1440p on a medium end PC. On the other hand for VR or 4k you simply need the fastest PC you can afford. Core i9-13900k, RTX4090, 32gbs fast memory. EIDE drives. If you use a monitor then you need head tracking like a TrackIR5. Don't forget a HOTAS setup. Nothing very good is very cheap.
@@S1baar I play single player most of the time without head tracker on. I get too much light for it to be useful in the daytime. For TO and landing, sightseeing, aerobatics and gunning practice on ground targets or bombers I find no head tracker is just fine.

IMO, DCS needs Korean Peninsula and SEAsia maps and the aircraft to go with them. Dreams are free.
