But still...Max did leave the track....But this is penalized only after leaving the track for the fourth time. The stewards did not punish Lando for his fourth time leaving the track because he had nowhee to go... The claim that Lando was in advance of Max (before corner) and that Max was the passing driver alos holds not. The rule has only one consideration...WHO is in front at the apex. Not Who was passing the other.
He also had 4 or 5 tracklimit strokes so even of this wasnt a leaving the track and gaining an adcantage he would have got 5 seconds for track limits so just take it like adults. In either way he would have lost his 3rd place

seeing that BOTH cars were outside of the track limits because max pushed lando "off the track" and leaving the track himself? the pass should be allowed! because max had to exceed track limits in order ensure lando would not be able to make the pass within the rules shows that max did it both in an unsafe manner by in essence CHEATING!! 🤬🤬 if the FIA reversed the penalty and allowed the pass, then perhaps this may help put an end to drivers intentionally pushing cars that are trying to pass off the road knowing the pass will be penalized thus exploiting the rules in their favour! adding yet another 'dirty trick" to the driver who is renowned for "dirty driving" MAX!!!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

The job is on the FIA to revise the rules so that if you're "ahead at the apex" it doesn't make you immune to track limits. It's simple really. All of this nonsense about Max being a dirty driver is just bias and projection. Any driver can do exactly what Max did and it's completely within the rules, it doesn't make him "dirty". Don't hate the player hate the game. Max isn't the problem and your anger towards him is just misguided. All the teams bend and stretch rules every single day to gain a competitive advantage, like McLaren and Mercedes with their flexi-wings, for example. Are they cheating as well?
