Get the European Dobermann, they are much bigger and muscular than the common American Dobermann. European Dobermanns are bred as working dogs so they are versatile. My first dog was a doberman/rottweiler, my family got her when I was around 4/5 years old and she was such a sweet and smart girl. But this video really explains why my friends didn't want to come over after seeing her.
My Doberman was a genius. She was so relaxed and never bit anyone she wasn't supposed to bite. But whenever an intruder was present she was their worst nightmare. Fantastic dogs in general, and I will be getting another.
I have two dobermans, ones 5 and one is 4 months- and the 5 year old is fat and cuddly and the most loving dog out there. And the little one is spunky but not vicious or anything like that.. they're great dogs. :)

I love my Dobie he's a specemin. He's assertive and a great guard dog. Very easy to train and it's important to get them used to people & other dogs. Definitely an indoor dog but he likes to get out and run. Mostly wants to stick by your side.
My Doberman's are sweet to me, loving to me, and loyal to me. They are my guard dogs. They are alert, fun, loving, playful, and look intimidating enough to keep my dead husband's family out of my life. ( they are very bad people ). They will attack if a stranger walks in the yard without me there, and they will attack if someone walks in the house that should not be here. They are very protective, but no way are they bad dogs. They need exercise, to be played with. You never leave them alone for hours on end. That is not good for any dog. My babies all live in the house with me and go outside to do their business and to play. I don't know why Doberman's get such a bad rap. They are wonderful dogs.
True outside my Doberman was an excellent guard dog. Try and come into the yard or house uninvited... he'll protect. He did die of wobblers syndrome in 2015 at age 13
I found one last month, just walking the streets and going through trash. Chip scan came up active but unregistered and he was nothing but skin and bones. Excellent dog, EXTREMELY smart and stubborn as hell but surprisingly chill. I've only heard him bark once and he doesn't chase after cats/ducks/iguanas but LOVES to pull towards other dogs and people for some playtime and loving. He does fine in a decently sized 1/1 apt but I don't think he'd be able to handle my old studio.

I have 2 Dobermans. A chocolate and rust female European dobie who's 1 year old and a 4 month old chocolate and rust male American Doberman. Both of them have natural ears , docked tail. I love them so much best dogs in the whole world my fav breed
I wish they would have educated the viewers on docking ears and tails. People who see it as cruel are uneducated about it. No animal in the wild has floppy ears. Look at the wolf, fox, coyote- all have erect ears. Floppy ears are man-bred and do not allow proper blood flow. The ears can also get infections due to the trapped moisture. Erect ears help the dog to hear better and you can even understand the dog's emotions more when they are erect than you can with the floppy ears. Tails become docked because the tails are so long, hard and whip-like, it's very easy for them to hit something and break the tail. We have to remember these are MAN BRED dogs and with that comes undesirable traits along with the desirable. It is BETTER for the animal's quality of life to have docked ears and tails. Complaining about it like saying "Wow, I can't believe people get their tonsils and wisdom teeth removed, so cruel."
Doberman are the like kindest dogs ever if you raise them right! My aunt has one that while I was at her house her Doberman would just stay by my side the whole time! In he middle of the night she came to sleep with me!
i’ve always dreamt of having dobie and now my puppy is sleeping right next to me. they are quite the work but COMPLETELY worth it. the most loyal but lethal cuddlebugs you’ll EVER get
We are moving to Pensacola this fall. And I will be choosing a dog for the new home. I have done several questionnaires guiding me to a handful of breeds better suited for me. The Doberman is one. I have had several dogs and trained them myself. I figure a couple of hours on the beach most mornings would be enough exercise. My greatest concern with the Doberman is if I pass (I'm 63 years old), will the dog likely take advantage of a younger, less dominant girlfriend.
I met a Doberman training to be a service dog for people who needed help and she just kissed me all over my hands. So these dogs may get a bad rap but if raised and trained and socialized well they can be very loving and gentle creatures.
I don't understand how people are still allowed, in some countries, to do these awful things to some dog breeds... Cutting their ears and tails and God knows what. An acquaintance of mine who had a doberman, had its ears cropped, tail cut off, tattoos in its ears.. And it was really afraid of every buzzing sound and if it was raining and the raindrops touched the only tip that was left of the tail. All the cutting and shit was done while it was a puppy and even as an adult, it still had memories of it.
My Dobie has a docked tail(already done before I got her at 8 weeks). I'm not advocating it but I've heard from veterinarians and breeders that they dont feel it while very young. Mine has her ears though. I wouldn't allow those to be cut
@@670TXxGregorysxXT670 They do feel it, trust me, but they might not remember it that easily. But I'd like to think that it can cause some issues for the dog.
'Dobermans and Rottweilers are very dangerous breeds!' My 7-year-old rottie and my cousin's 3 y/o doberman: 'Okay, give us a treat and we will be your best bud forever!' Our dogs don't make good guard dogs, true ... but my cousin's chihuahua is a freaking menace xD
Went to the dog park and saw these 2 dobermans one puppy and one grown doberman. I talked to one of the owners while the other owner was talking to my mom about the breed, talking to her about how great the breed is trying to get her to like the idea of getting a doberman. As soon as I got into the car to go home, she said, “we’re not getting a doberman” then at home I tried to ask her again but then she said, “you’re not getting one until in a few years.” Then stupid me got mad just as we were going to go to sleep. I have 2 small dogs, but I loved the idea of having a doberman (european) as well. Nobody in my family has ever had one so they can’t really talk to her about how great the breed is. I’m not patient sadly... what can I do? She’s not very persuasive... at all.
The super-loving, super-protective, super-smart. super-spoiled babydog of them all. I took my Dobie for a run about a mile, then she stopped, laid down, and wanted to be carried home - I looked at her feet and made sure her legs were intact, and she was okay. The spoiled baby was just done running... Yes a registered Doberman Pinscher!!
if theyre going to basically breed what makes it a doberman, out of the doberman, they should be renamed. American Doberman for docile slim show dogs, Original/European Doberman for the actual working ones.
My dobermans are big babies. I am on my third one. The other two passed away years ago. The other two passed at 7 years do to hip displacement, cysts, and heart issues. They have very heavy heads and they are cry babies.
That is the exact Doberman I have. Brown Red and Female. I named her Amber, because she has that mix of red and brown that makes it look like and amber stone.
I've met a lot of dogs - the nastiest dog I've ever met wasn't a Doberman, but it was a Golden Retriever and the dog was stunning - he just had an absolutely horrible temper.
Met a Doberman the other day. Her name is Kiera and she is scared of people and other dogs (including my little Border Collie puppy). Idk what happened to the “fearlessness” part.
The most underrated dog. Once you own a Doberman, you'll probably never own another breed again. They're simply amazing. Great video, thank you.

Doberman are the like kindest dogs ever if you raise them right! My aunt has one that while I was at her house her Doberman would just stay by my side the whole time! In he middle of the night she came to sleep with me!
i’ve always dreamt of having dobie and now my puppy is sleeping right next to me. they are quite the work but COMPLETELY worth it. the most loyal but lethal cuddlebugs you’ll EVER get
I take care of them because I love them with all my heart 💕❤️💓❤️💕.
Very fierce.
My doberman shed so much, people say they dont, but they do. ALOT. They are also very needy.
My Dobermans name is Sirius. He’s about to be 6 months old n is hitting 50lbs.love him!!
You'll love the journey. They are awesome to have.
Sir Gregoryson I am! I love him like a child haha. He’s great!
Wait, so my dobermans' back legs sometimes shake when they stand; is that bad?
Juniper The Gamer late to the question, but that may be wobblers! Have you had it checked?
TerraOblivion27 Well, they finally stopped shaking and they're coming close to a year old. I think they're fine now. Happy I have healthy pups :D
Juniper The Gamer glad to hear the pups are well 😃 greetings from Mississippi!
TerraOblivion27 Heyo from Kentucky!
I'd have the blood tested and talk to the breeder about genetics in the bloodline
I met a Doberman training to be a service dog for people who needed help and she just kissed me all over my hands. So these dogs may get a bad rap but if raised and trained and socialized well they can be very loving and gentle creatures.
I have an SDiT right now and once she retires or if she ends up being a washout I really, really want a dobie.
I love Dobermans! I have one and one day I will own three! Amazing dogs.
Interesting the way this video frames a lot of aspects to create a very menacing and ferocious look of the doberman
That was the point with the original. Highly intelligent, highly trainable, fearless, loyal and visually combative to discourage thieves.
I have a female Doberman there an awesome breed I’m glad I got her with floppy ears
Same as mine. The ears make the females more like ladies
Sir Gregoryson true that 🙂
I don't understand how people are still allowed, in some countries, to do these awful things to some dog breeds...
I have a Doberman Pincher. He is an amazing dog.
'Dobermans and Rottweilers are very dangerous breeds!'
My 7-year-old rottie and my cousin's 3 y/o doberman: 'Okay, give us a treat and we will be your best bud forever!'
Our dogs don't make good guard dogs, true ... but my cousin's chihuahua is a freaking menace xD
Man that are so many dog breeds to make the Doberman pinscher and they be a good guard dog like the German Shepherd and the Rottweiler
Dobermans were also K9 for the US Marines during WWII.
I cropped and docked my dogs ears. IDGAF what any of you have to say. She is loved and taken well care of and is a member of our family. My dog.
We adopted a 3 year old male Doberman and we were able to train him to be around cats and our kids. You just have to have the time to train the dog
Leave them their ears and tails!!
Right why cut them off? Pretty fuckin cruel if you ask me
Went to the dog park and saw these 2 dobermans one puppy and one grown doberman. She’s not very persuasive... at all.
Maybe dont attempt direct persuasion. Volunteer at a doberman rescue. She may see how much you enjoy the breed and cave on her own.
Miss my dobies. I had three growing up. They were all wonderful, but sadly they all succumbed to cancer :-(
They also suffer from what is basically an enlarged heart. It is controllable in other breeds, but with Dobermans, it is fatal.
That’s probably why they’re so sweet😭
if theyre going to basically breed what makes it a doberman, out of the doberman, they should be renamed.
I want a female red colored doberman. Her name will be Star
I got a red male Doberman
That is the exact Doberman I have. Brown Red and Female. I named her Amber, because she has that mix of red and brown that makes it look like and amber stone.
Snape Snape Severus Snape I would like a female black dobie, or german Shepherd and name her Luna.
I want a male black and rust one. His name will be Kane
I want a male, and I will name him Luke or if it is female I will name her Greta
Tomb Raider 2 brought me to these types of Dogs
no dog can beat dovbermans
Lorraine Doniecki yeah pitbull and rottwialler can beat it
Lorraine Doniecki pit bulls can but your right they are super tough
Valchyna screw you it's how the owner trains them

Victor Acerra a pitbull and rottweiler would get torn to shreds.
My doberman so lovely and obedient! 😍😚💜
