Anyway, we did the trek from California and ended up having a layover in Tokyo. My hubby is 4th generation Japanese and had never been so we stayed in Tokyo for a few days, then headed over to Jakarta, spent an evening there and took our flight to Bali and stayed in my fav UBUD! 🐚🌴🌴🌴🥰🥰. Stayed a week, went back to Jakarta spent a night and headed back to Tokyo and stayed a couple more days and then finished the trek back to California!
It was a mission to get there but what an amazing and EPIC journey! We will be going back soon!! We love Bali! Love your video and thanks for sharing. 🙏💛

At the time, the visa and quarantine process was complicated but it’s changed so you don’t need to quarantine anymore and passengers from 42 nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival in Bali, which is valid for 30 days and can be extended once.
