- this is a visual diary of the time i spent traveling alone in bali - my itinerary was 4 nights in ubud, a night in sanur and a night on nusa penida (a smaller island off the eastern coast of the main island). it was a def an #eatpraylove type of adventure :)

aw thank you for the support!! puerto rico is lovely, i went this past september for the first time and actually have a shorter vlog of that trip too :) solo travel is all about picking the right places to start off with where you'll feel relatively more safe and comfortable!

I didn't use an app actually I just chatted with people I met or were recommended from my Airbnbs!

Amazing! I’m traveling to Bali solo and have the same itinerary as you. I was a little worried about leaving Nusa Penida the same day as my flight (flight is at 8pm to NYC). Did you run into problems or was there a certain time you left the island? Thanks!

oh about the money exchange incident. that's something they do to tourists, they scam them like that. they trick you into accepting less. I've heard many of my friends telling me the same thing happened to them, one of them has actually counted the money infront of the exchange guys so he could get what was missing. others have had very bad luck. you are lucky!
Travel alone is so great but sometimes you want to have someone with you during your travel.. What a good place.. Nice to take some videos and pictures.for my channel

i was able to book my flight with credit card points (by far the biggest expense of the trip), so i think i was able to keep the full week to $600-700 all inclusive!
