    Awesome video and based on your review as well as others, I did order the YesWelder.
    However, due to very poor customer service and with the errorously charging and fraudulently collecting a city sales tax which I am not required to pay, I cancelled my order and YesWelder is providing a 100% refund. YesWelder customer service refused to refund the fraudulently collected city sales tax and stood their ground on ignorance and laziness, and "relying" on their "system" to "automatically" charge for said taxes.
    PSA: I do recommend for those who have made a purchase with YesWelder to double check their invoices for accuracy of all charges. I live in the county, not the city limits, and therefore I am not required to pay a city sales tax. For charging me a city sales tax was in error. This information was in fact confirmed by me calling the "City" revenue department.
    Not only did YesWelder lost the sale because of the fraudulent collection of city sales tax (in my situation), they lost a customer and any possible repeat sales.

    Why does the machine have two compressor setting? Are there advantages and disadvantage to shop supply vs machine supply?

      Hi Tom! From my experience with cutting with both types of air supplying the plasma cutter, the onboard compressor works great but if I was cutting thick steel in my shop, I would use my shop air because you can supply a higher pressure to the plasma cutter. If I was mobile with the unit, I would use the onboard air. The onboard compressor works amazing and if you are cutting 1/4 or thinner steel, you probably would not notice any difference in performance between outside supplied air and the onboard air. When cutting thicker steel, you will just have to slow down the feed rate of the torch to match the output of the onboard air compressor. It’s a great feature and it was the first time I’ve had the ability to plasma cut out in the field without a compressor so I was very surprised by how well it cuts with the built in compressor.😁👍

    Can it accomodate a pedal for the tig

    • @PranaTech
      @PranaTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, the same pedal that fits their 250P ac/dc Tig fits this one as well and is what I used for the review.😊👍

    If you want to see the plasma cutter cut 1/2" steel, here is a link th-cam.com/video/6DIHXTP4A70/w-d-xo.html If you are interested in buying one of these amazing welders, here is a link to their kickstarter campaign where you ca get an early bird price that is way below what it will eventually be once it is up for retail sale. yeswelder-firstess-ct2050.kckb.st/pranatech

    Does your DIY pedal work on this? I'm assuming its the same connector and wiring as the Yeswelder TIG 250P. Do you know where you could get that male connector?

    • @PranaTech
      @PranaTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it does! It works with any pedal like the SSC one that is for the 250P. The plug is just a GX16 5 pin plug that you can get on Amazon or eBay. 😊👍

    Is it any better than the 250p, interms of TIG and stick? I am not interested in air compressor or plasma, as I live without those.

    • @PranaTech
      @PranaTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you primarily care about Tig and stick, I would definitely go with the 250P! Having 50 more amps is worth a lot in my book. I mainly weld aluminum and having 250 amps of power is the difference between just barely able to weld 1/4” with 200 amps and easily welding 5/16” and able to also weld 3/8” when I need to with 250 amps. There’s an old saying in welding, “you can never use the amps that you didn’t purchase”. 😁👍Cheers!

    I want one if it's only 1000.00 the big question is how much is shipping? I plan on using this to build custom motorcycle parts and motorcycles

      @PranaTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Steven! Well, I can’t say for sure what the final price is going to be but I think it will be right at or a little above or below your price during the early bird campaign. I think they usually do free shipping too!😁👍

    I would like know if you have cut 1/2” steel with it. I would be interested if it could do it with its compressor and if not would it do with external air. Clean cut 1/2” steel. Thanks

    • @PranaTech
      @PranaTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a great question Scott! I’ll see if I have any 1/2” in the scrap bin and if I do, I’ll film a short test so people can see the results.😁👍

    • @PranaTech
      @PranaTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Scott, well your request has been answered. I ran a test with 1/2" steel and it made a nice clean cut with shop supplied air and it made a decent cut with the onboard air compressor. You could probably make a clean cut with the onboard compressor if you went slower but I wouId most likely keep my cuts to 10mm or 3/8" with the onboard compressor and 1/2" with the shop supplied air. I shot a short video that I'm editing now and should have it uploaded in a little bit.🙂

    Do you know what kind of Dinse connectors it uses for tig?

    • @PranaTech
      @PranaTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Lance, the connector on the Tig torch is a 35-70. Strange because the connectors on my 250P are 35-50 and they fit this welder perfectly. If you are looking for torch compatibility, you just need to get one that has 35-50 dinse and the gas connector separate or coming in to the side of the dinse connector. I converted my 250P to a CK Worldwide air cooled torch and then I recently converted it to a miller WP-18 water cooled setup. If you want to run a better torch, I can certainly help you when the time comes.😊👍

      Thank you so much I appreciate it. I use CK worldwide torches and I wanted to make sure that I could use them.
