Thanks my brother wrecked his a3 few weeks ago and I ended up buying it back from insurance for $800 lol. Got all front end parts from junk yard and I've had it sitting for a week and couldn't remember every single screw and bolt. I appreciate the thorough coverage.

My 2004 audi a3 bumper grill is completely different. It doesn't have any screws around the outside it simply clicks in our out. Any idea why? I'm trying to get a honeycomb grill but cannot find one that fits...

Great video. Is it possible to remove the chrome strip without removing the entire grill. I honestly don't care if it gets broken since I can simply replace it with a new part that I will paint before installing.

Yes, but it may be hard to do without damaging the mounting holes in the grill.

How did you remove the license plate holder trim?

Once you have removed the licence plate you can see the screws that hold it in place. Just remove these and it will come off.

Can I remove the Chromeframe without removing the grill from the front?

As far as we are aware, no. Not without damaging the clips that hold the chrome trim in place.

Can i remove the front bumper without removing the lightwashing system? Or it comes integrated?

The headlight washer jets are fixed to the rear of the bumper, so at the very least you would need to pull the bumper away slightly to gain access to the washer jets.
