My mom was thrifting back in the nineties. She found some great unique things. She would get me some great clothes for college too. Lord bless my mother and father. 🙏 They both passed in 2017. My dad was a hard working construction worker who took great pride in his craft. I miss them both immensely. Thank you for your channel. 🌞

As someone who shops not to resell but for personal use, I look at clothing and home decor. I especially like the wood section, and am fond of green milk glass. I'm impressed that you quit caffeine. You really go some great deals!
I think that the longer I'm in a thrift shop, the more deals I find... 🤔 it's just a question of how many hours I want to put into shopping.... 2 stores can take maybe 4 hours... and it flys by... as for quitting caffeine it was easier than I thought it would be. The first 2 weeks are challenging but worth it .. thank you fir for watching!

That pottery jug you picked up in the first shop at 50% off? It’s a proper one!
J&G Meakin, Hanley is a pottery that’s been around since pre- 1890s in England. That jug is post 1890s but still had some age to it.
Hanley is somewhere I know very well - it in an area called ‘The Potteries’ in Staffordshire, England. My mother’s family hail from Stoke on Trent and I spent much of my life back and forth from London to staffs.
It’s also where all the great pottery makers are based like Wedgwood etc.
that was potentially a jug worth having especially if undamaged.
