That cave in Mexico is so mind-blowing, it's hard to even imagine something like that exists. Would love to see it in person but...guess that won't be any time soon.

It was a geode..they form the shell part first had the crystals grow from pockets of mineral saturated water of the inside hollow has the same kid of water seep into hollow space. Diamonds ate the products of magma from volcanic action solidifying a certain way from just the right sort of magma..o you won't find Diamond. Crystals encased in the same way as a geode. You find diamonds a loose or in veins of volcanic rock....
Awesome list! Totally recommend visiting the Ron Coleman mine in Arkansas. You can dig up your own quartz there and and they have a fantastic rock shop. Was lucky enough to score an absolutely beautiful quartz sample from their shop worth at least $100 by my reckoning for only $25. (no, I don't work for them lol. I just think they're neat xD)

I love crystals especially for the reason that it is used for spiritual healing. Recently I had an itching thought that maybe we are over mining the crystals and not thinking so much about what it'll do to mother earth because I see people posting online showing ridiculous amount of huge crystals being harvested and sold in outdoor markets. I really hope that is not the case. It only grows about two centimeter over a period of ten million years depending what type. With an increasing amount earthquakes going on recently over the years it affects the growth rate of crystals as well. We have to be mindful of how much we harvest. We should only take only what is needed. Sorry for being a party pooper but I think it makes sense to be moderate and not get overboard with harvesting mother earth's minerals. As a side note mined Diamonds are more often the quality and size that thier use is industrial for coating cutting implements. Rather then jewelry. It's like 78% used for industrial application...
