    Yes the issue with the gears is normal since it's a hydrostatic transmission and the gears are not fully synchronous like on a shuttle shift. This will get better as the tractor breaks in and as others have mentioned, tapping the pedals will help move the gears so they align and allow your to shift.

      @@woodlandacres No worries, my L2501 Kubota same thing. I got 60 hrs and it is getting easier. I do try to switch between ranges to help loosen it up. Looks like a great tractor and you will get long use and fun out of it. I usually grease the loader every time I use it. Mine suggests every 10 hrs. I ran heavy equipment for 15 years. I greased everyday. Other equipment that didn't get it that frequently had pin and bushing issues earlier on.

    if you have issues with putting gears in tap, when trying to put it in gear tap either the forward or reverse pedal if yours is a hydro stat and it will drop straight in, the reason why its hard is the tight tolerances and as I was told a slight tap on the pedal aligns it for you to put it in gear. Hop[e that explains it for you

    I loaded 9 yards of hard clay by hand this week and it's hard work. I have 8 acres and a tractor would be awesome. I looked at the ck3510 just need more research to determine what model I get.

    • @woodlandacres
      @woodlandacres  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      yup, been there. The tractor is obviously a real time saver so if you consider the amount of time it saves you, its worth it. I did a pretty good amount of research with it being my first tractor purchase, and Kioti just seemed like the best bet for me. The only piece that made me somewhat reluctant in the beginning was the lack of nearby dealers and service centers in my area, so I had to convince myself I'd be ok servicing it myself when needed.

    i picked up the ck4010se this summer, would be interesting to run the 35 n 40 next to each other to see if that 5hp makes any difference...I chose the 40 because i have a steeeeep driveway trying to use a 850lbs snowblower...

    • @woodlandacres

      Theres a dealer that recorded a TH-cam video like that comparing the kioti models but I don't recall if he used both the 35 and 40. How are you liking the tractor so far?

    • @touyang2846
      @touyang2846 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@woodlandacres it's main purpose is for snow blowing and grading the driveway at the cabin. I spent 10hrs learning/using it to grade the driveway. Still waiting for the snow...i don't get to spend as much time at the cabin as i would like to so the learning curve will be slow...but so far, i'm loving it.

    I have the ck2610. I like things about the tractor but I don't like the distance between the pto and the drawbar. The hood will not stay latched. I have to remove the drawbar if I run any pto equipment on the 3pt hitch. Other then that for what I use it for its not bad.

      Even at 5.oo$ a tube (good polyurea Kubogy grease) l spend more money on grease-monkeying than fuel @3.5 $ a gallon. In 812hrs & 4 1/2 years l heard my rig Squeek only ONCE. Grease is WAY-WAY cheaper than pins&bushings. It is WAY better to grease often than slober-pump once in a while (like every 20hours). A couple (2or3) every 4 hrs is my repitore. Never- never have l heard a modern-day machine make that much NOISE!! --sounded like a rattletrap.[Just my two cents] Just took 2 Massey-Ferguson 's for test drives-- a 1825e hydro & a 1840e gear drive & they were 50% &35% as loud respectively. My "Kubogy" a mx5200 manual shuttle & my Massey-Ferguson 1736 powe-shuttle are only 35% as loud as the kioti CK3510SE. Maybe all that clanging & banging was the Re-gen going on? I am in the market for a rig this size 2800-3300lbs & 25-35 horsepower. When l go test drive a kioti l hope they are never this Loud. All brands are on the table & not any one is the clear winner so far. Happy safe Tractoring & thanks for the vidio.

    I just put a down payment on a CK3510, the most tractor I could afford right now. I wish you did get the regen on video, personally I'm not looking forward to it I think it's going to be pitta when it stops the tractor from working.

    • @woodlandacres
      @woodlandacres  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Congrats! yea I didn't have the camera on me, otherwise I would've! Aside from the noticeable heat (and smell), I didn't notice any change in performance. From what I understand, you can continue to operate as usual if it kicks in as long as you aren't working in tall, dry grass.

    • @garymeyer3294
      @garymeyer3294 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It doesn't stop the tractor from working. When the regen light comes on simply move the throttle lever so the tach needle points to the 540 PTO mark on the dial and continue working. After about 8 minutes the light will go off and everything will return to normal. I've been through it 6 times in 210 hrs. and its a non issue.

      @@garymeyer3294 definitely good report. I did a lot of research on the regens and I didn't find many people complaining about it on the Kioti. I saw several complaints on the Kubota B3350...but didn't see any on the Kioti...never-the-less, I opted to go with the Kioti CK2610 HST since it doesn't have the emission control stuff on it (same hydraulics as the CK3510 so same lift capacities)...and I have been very happy so far 110 hours and 1 year later. IF you are into it for the loader and 3 point hitch, no need for more hp. If you want to use the PTO a lot, that is when you might need more hp.

    • @fanjet737
      @fanjet737 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Run the engine 2400rpm and the regen will seldom trigger. The modern tier 4 diesels are designed to run higher rpm’s to run clean and it won’t hurt them. Avoid lengthy idle time. My 3510 has 400 hrs and only 3 or 4 regens needed.
