You can’t use a super remote if the remote programs into the vehicle with the chip. You can only use a super remote if there’s a separate programming procedure the remote. For example I did a 2012 terrain. The remote programs with the chip so a super remote wouldn’t work. You’d have to use a wireless one.

Well I still cannot grasp the difference between the blue and the purple ones. There are definitely some vehicles where the remote is added automatically when programming the transponder that successfully accept the purple remotes. Meanwhile certain models can only be generated on the blue. So your point is not proper enough with all due respect. There must be some other explanation on that.

I wonder if you can help me. I have a XE super chip remote and I’m trying to generate a remote that is capable of super remote I keep getting error message (can’t find sn002) I’m using the (key tool max pro) not sure if that has anything to do with it
Is the remote for your country? And you have a battery in it. If it is try moving it in different positions in the coil. If it doesn’t work could be a bad one
Hallo, can I use the wired remote again if I make mistake and generated the wrong remote for the vehicle ? Is the remote reusable ?
Yes you can use it as many times as you want
@russej02, thank you for your videos! i just subscribed. I saw that you said, that you are not satisfied with key tool plus... I just bought the tool... i will use it only for european cars, few non-european... i saw that they updated the tool a lot.... what is your opinion now? especially for european cars. Thank you !
I refer Euro cars to a shop for a fee. I dont program them
Do you know if the smart key actually works on fords? Like 2016 ford explorer etc?
Haven’t tried one. If it’s in the app check the feed back. Most of them in there work.
@@russej02 I tried one a while back and it didn't work. That's why I was asking, maybe you or someone else has been able to do one? It would be awesome if they could because then I don't have to stock OEM Ford smart keys lol

Actualy orange ones autel cant program, because it cant make a dealer key.

3:51 do you need to seperate the superchip from the board to generate it or can it stay on the board during generation. Purple key
Leave it on the board
Hi friend... thk u for the video helps a lot... une question please..Xe purple key how much times can generate remotes ? Thks. i do one time and now when i try do other she dont detecte the key..
You should be able to generate them as many times as you want
Which type remyi should buy for nissan note 2016. Please suggest
I don’t know off the top of my head. You should just look up the FCC ID number and find it that way.
I want to get the purple keys. I have autel im508 but autel only has smart uni keys. Do you think i can program purple key with im508+vvdi mini tool
Generate it with the mini key tool and program with autel like you would any other key.
so I need to make a key for an 18 wrangler. I am going to use the blue nxp. the original key is cloneable. will it clone the chip and remote straight to the blue nxp xhorse remote, or does the new remote need to be programmed via obd
You can’t clone that. You’ll have to generate and it and program it. Remote will program in with the chip
Do i have to use the OBD by xhorse to program the key/transponder portion if all keys lost? Or can i use another programmer like autel 508?
Use any programmer
Depends on the vehicle. European like Audi, bmw, and Mercedes, have complex security protocols , that I had to buy an xhorse when I own an autel 508 ! Autel sucks on European support. You won’t be able to extract or obtain a password on autel
@rsanchez9192 I do all the cars you mentioned with autel 🤦♂️
Can the orange package be used for a Hyundai 2013 Volster smart key?
Idk you would need to look up the pertinent information for the vehicle then check the xhorse app
Can any of those be use for a 2016 jeep wrangler rubicon with the remote start option?
You need to look up the fcc id and then look it up in the xhorse app

Yes
I was watching this thinking "This guy sounds like the Bored Lock Picker"... now I know why.
Also, I assumed you could use the 'super' remotes in place of 'wireless' ones if you didnt have any wireless on hand.. so that is not correct?
You can’t use a super remote if the remote programs into the vehicle with the chip. You can only use a super remote if there’s a separate programming procedure the remote. For example I did a 2012 terrain. The remote programs with the chip so a super remote wouldn’t work. You’d have to use a wireless one.

I am new to key programming. my friend has a 2020 honda civic LX with only 1 remote head OEM key. he wants another one. I try to use super remote and xhorse mini key tools generate remote under civic 13-ID47G FSK 433 to generate . It says not supported. So my question is why and can super remote replace wireless remote( blue package)? or will blue package work for sure or I have to buy OEM or aftermarket remote head key with same FCCID instead. thanks
and the 2020 key has a G on the blade . non the less . mini key tool show not supported on generate on that profile marked wireless remote.
@@samxu1467 the answer to why it has to be a blue package wireless remote is because the remote programs in with the chip. There is not a separate procedure to program the remote. Super remotes cannot replace wireless remotes. If you select the same remote and generate it onto a wireless remote it should work.
In another word, super remote cannot replace wireless

Well I still cannot grasp the difference between the blue and the purple ones. There are definitely some vehicles where the remote is added automatically when programming the transponder that successfully accept the purple remotes. Meanwhile certain models can only be generated on the blue. So your point is not proper enough with all due respect. There must be some other explanation on that.
Not debating. Some people just can’t figure these out.

Maybe I should stop carrying all my Honda remote head keys in stock and switch to these…
I offer both. The flip keys seems to not fall apart like the Honda remote head keys
I never seem to have the right Honda remote head key even though I stock 5 or 6 different keys at the moment. The universal keys have saved me several times. I special ordered 2 refurbished keys for a Ford Fiesta the other day and both were DOA. Flip key to the rescue and the customer was happy because they considered it an upgrade.
