- Equipped with just my laptop, I attended Vidcon - the largest Creator conference in the world, and pitched my startup to creators like ZHC, Karl Jacobs, Jesser, and more!
My goal was not only to get these amazing creators on our cap table, but to also show you my process for cold approaching people.

Great networking skills. Karl is such a nice guy. Great video.
Couldn't agree more! He was super open to chatting with me and offering up his time - couldn't be more grateful!
that was amazing I love how you find a way to quickly establish connection with the creators
Thank you!! Shared connection is key🔑
damn! fun concept and what a great masterclass on pitching, networking, confidence and more! kudos John
Wow thank you Ben! I really appreciate the kind words :)
You're actually an amazing pitcher and salesman, glad you recorded this video cus I learned so much from it! Thank you keep it up, they're super informative!
These behind the scenes are so cool! I talk about behind the scenes of tech products and software on my channel, would love to work on something together!
This was freaking incredible, you are amazing dude!
This was so awesome! Shows how authenticity AND confidence is unbeatable! Wouldn’t be surprised to see some of these guys truly invest..
Very inspiring how you set your intentions before walking in there, and delivered on it for all of us to see. You got this 💪
If you're in college or uni, join/create a club and pitch your club to sponsors, it's a good way to practice pitching if you aren't ready to start a company yet.
This is probably one of the hardest thing to do for first-time entrepreneurs; to engage and interact with potential customer/investors.
Most courses shows how it’s done theoretically. I’ve never seen an actual spontaneous one being done like this. This will definitely help people not only strategically, but also emotionally to fight that fear of engaging someone new.
Amazing content Jay! As always. Can’t wait for the next one!
This is super cool, congrats man! Maybe you'll cover it in the next video, but I would want to hear more about the creator's thoughts on the products and if they had any questions or first impressions after you pitched. To me, it felt like the clips were a little one-sided where you would pitch for 90% of the scene, the creator would say yes, and then the video moved on to the next creator. In interview-style vids, I think adding more time to show the interviewee's thoughts in the conversation might feel more balanced to a viewer unless they didn't really say much haha. Loved it though, looking forward to the next one!
Love it! Great cold approach and networking inspiration.
Great video brother , been a huge fan of your work in VC.
Another banger!! Thanks for the tip - finding a point of connection with the person you’re reaching out to!
🙌🏾💯
Amazing courage and this is a great idea for not just content but building a powerful network. Im sure forerunners would appreciate these angels!
dope video 😎
mad respect for the cold intros
Dannng dude! This is so freaking cool and a huge thank you for the confidence boost.
Awesome video John, mad props for putting yourself out there to be judged by these big creators! Keep up the good work
Thanks Matt! Appreciate you being here for the journey!
This is actually a great app! Super excited to watch it grow.
Super useful lesson for entrepreneurs!
It’s amazing that you were able to pitch to them without them even knowing you
Thank you for this gem 💎 🙏
awesome video! love the enthusiasm and drive.
haha did you really give 25% for 1$? that's dope
I see once you saw the reaction from Jesse for SBS, it was an easy datapoint to drop to build rapport. love this
25% @ $1... something tells me Jay is gonna regret that later lol
That's super cool ❤❤❤
You're a beast Jay!
Awesome video! I really like that this is real, even though you are a Startup founder, you are still nervous.
Oh this is that cold in person opens I been needing XD. Went to a juggling convention recently, bombed in terms of meeting people, though getting 3 people to approach me (2 taught me a cool juggling trick, 1 big shot that impressed by working on my Unity game in the hotel lobby at 5am) so still some wins I suppose. Just not as prepared as having a whole pitch for when the conversation is started. And the best part, you looked like you were just having fun.
This guy is a marketing genius
What a fantastic energy, John! Congrats on all the yeses!
Thank you so much Anna! :)
inspiring video dude! There is a lot to learn from this video.
Yo brother, gotta say ur inspiring me as a founder.
Addicted to your videos man
Need a follow-up on ZHC! Seemed to me like he was the one interested the most…go make him some dope courses with sour AI and get him to use Stan, rooting for you John!!
Let's f go! Good job those cold calls.
Love it! Does anyone know of any other similar channels because this channel is so unique at showing his start up
Proud to be the first :) you can check out my earlier stuff on my TikTok that shows the early parts of the journey well!
Impressive pitch to these creators! How did you manage to confidently connect with them and make such convincing offers?
Your networking abilities are impressive. Karl comes across as a genuinely kind person. This video is outstanding.
You exude confidence in yourself and your product!
this is dope man

New thumbnail is on point, (experience as a video clicker). Title, just feels off still but I have no clue if anything.
Bro make a pitch vid / social networking video please. This was great!
This is gold.
honestly that channel alone is prime content marketing
so cool, fortune favor the bold!
The oozing confidence, the great big smile, the friendly demeanor. Man you got the whole package🫡 Really look up to you, your vids actually inspired me to start my startup journey as well. Hopefully we’ll be able to connect one day!
Wow, thank you! It's definitely fake it till you make it with the confidence - I still struggle with it all the time. So excited to hear where your startup journey takes you! Keep me updated!
Great video, loving this series! Can’t wait to see where Stan is in a few years
Appreciate it! I can't wait to tell everyone that you were there from the very beginning ;)
It's the part where you're trying lean on the table to look cool and then realise mid-air that there's mugs on the table, so now your elbow is just awkwardly hovering over them. 😂😂😂
Damn it is awsome you are building in public , following you since video 1
Bro with the guts build diff
I have a question if your looking for someone to invest in your business company or even yourself what would you look for ?
Unreal
Damn that took a lot of courage to do. Did anyone of them contact you guys for the deal after?
Stay tuned to find out😉
Love this but let’s say you actually got an investor which I know you have. It would be cool if you would explain how do you follow through? What does that look like? Such as getting a check what do they get as an investor?
banger vid
Karl es tan agradable

Jayhoovy 🤝 MrBeast
Super cool!
Thanks Spencer!!
The real question is how can we invest into Stan? Hahaha
would be interesting to know, if any of these will lead to real investments
Wow great video! How can we invest in your company?
bro as a future startup founder, there was so much to learn from in this video!
Appreciate the support Siddhant!! Let me know if there's any topics you want me to make videos about to help your journey!
The energy level of yours was constant with everybody you met which is really hard to keep while pitching that too in public. I know you are and will be reaping your benefits as well as you will be way ahead of everyone else in the coming future.
Thank you so much Sarthak! Matching energy is crucial when cold approaching like this!!
