Some additional notes about norman war:
- If you don't got a fire team like most do, use transcendant or nier team.
- On the first day you can clear first 3 stages then 1 stage the following day and so forth.
- Norman war resets at the time u first entered.
- You can allocate all the energy into attack points for the team you have the hardest time against a boss or your weakest invested team.
- Norman is usually a gamemode than usually appears twice or so per patch if the patch has it.
- This update should drop in a about a month.
- Pet button will be patch after echo aria, will have pet orb on bar for echo aria.

@@Spider2B I'm assuming that's why everyone loves Vera, since her sadism compliments our need to give ourselves aneurysms from malding rage.
Can't wait to get my ass kicked by Norman War, but I'm sad that Autopoiesis Maze has to make way for it. It was absurdly fun having 6s cooldown character swaps and 5s cooldown QTEs, not to mention nigh infinite orbs from killing mobs.
Same that mode is soo much fun why do they have to get rid of it ? Can't they just keep it ?

If you are a F2P player, its reccomended to use the Stun Free Pet because you need it for the upcoming Babel
And for the Pets you want 100% to Pull for F2P is Rosetta's Horse who not only deal surprisingly HUGE Damage compared to other Pets, it also able to Parry Attacks
Bianca's Crane is the 2nd Best for F2P because not only it give HUGE Mobility, it has suction and Lightning Resistance Reduction
if you dont have rosetta dont need her pet. But crane and stun pet pretty worth.
@@Spider2B I checked again and pretty sure Rosetta's Horse is the few S Rank Pet that can be used on ANYONE just for their Sheer Damage alone(Which most Pets couldnt even deal decent damage) and the Parry it does when doing it just make it even more invaluable for every character

Oh boy, Norman War, the game mode that I fear by watching some gameplays of it and it looks kinda hard, feel like that's going to be *painful* yet fun at the same time.

Since I'm still building characters, I'm kinda scared of this. The team that most suffers is my lightning team since I don't have a DPS and my best dark character is still Camu.
Fire team is in okay-ish position and ice team is fine. Physical is my strongest.
But not every character is built or leveled up enough, so when I saw the 7500BP there, I died a little inside
It's ok, just clear as much as you can. Norman is more endgame oriented so just let it be a goal and slowly work towards it.
Just save for vera flare
Lol Literally my ONLY team is a lightning team as well that i built around Arclight construct when he was released, and just now returning on the last day of august :/
I use my SSS Selena in lightning while solo. It's hard but I managed lol. Fk the orb reductions. I use my SSS Camu and Qu to fire zone. Norman war byw

Intense! I'm so close to getting Veritas too. If I can snatch her up I can use my selector on Plume. I already got nier team and dark team completed. Randomly got alpha on the standard banner (lols) so I got tons of teams to make

Love all the videos and info you post, it's really informative and appreciated! Since This mode also locks teams, would it be okay to ask for a video with ideal teams, elemental, physical, etc. for this upcoming update?
They're pretty set in stone, the same teams as the ones you use for warzone/ppc.

❄️plume, wanshi/tank, 4zwy ayla/rosetta/b nanami
Physical: nier team or transcendant team
Physical 2: alpha rosetta sss b liv or fire team (s karen and s nanami)

I only have 9 constructs in SS, i've been farming for the perfect memories and weapons for each, the grind for constructs was painful but now they added companions...the grind in this game is infinite and it's awesome

In echo aria, pet skill usage will be based on cooldown time instead based on number of orbs used

Should I prioritize building the main dps first, like tank/attacker first for each team then do the rest after them (so I could maybe mald many times to bruteforce may way through and pray to have enough damage from that one construct) or work on 1 team first then the next?
Def attacker and tank first for each team. Can only use each team once.
When you say 5 fully built well invested teams, do you mean that they all need to be ultima awakened (including your QTE supports?) , and atleast fully skilled up and 5 star weapon levelled too? Been focusing on getting only main DPS constructs well built, and the bare minimum QTE support bots for exppc and wz. I don't nearly have enough resources to have them all awakened XD
Also, is there a disadvantage in doing the side stages (vs skipping to the main stage)? Or is it worth doing all the side stages anyway especially for the first norman war next patch?
supports def dont need to. Tanks and Attackers ideally yes. No disadvantage to doing side stages other than it taking a bit longer compared to going straight to the boss. Up to you and your skills if you need to clear the side stages.

Nope, no disadvantage but if you can clear with the boss buffs in one go you can save time. If its too hard then definitely clear the debuffs
I used the Stun Pet back when I was stil playing in TW server and pair it up with Roland. Damn its near infinite stun due to how his orbs works
For f2p, do you think strategically investing in the right S class + their weapons is more important than getting every s class?
For eg, I have a bianca with chrome now, I know Vera is great but would investing in bianca like her upcoming S pet be better than getting Vera?
I think there will be some S pulls that we will not be able to get both their weapon as well.
For eg I intentionally skipped Rosetta to go for SSS A2.
This will allow me to save for elements that I’m lacking like fire and ice. Thoughts?

no. for f2p its better to prioritize to get more chars than only 1 fully invested team.if you do so, there'll be times where you wish you have more chars

So more prospectively, instead of going for S vera as an example which I know is super in burst, wondering if I should save for ice chrome instead… just one of the many considerations, and then fire teams for the future instead of “upgrading” existing teams.
@@sulphursg dont take my opinion seriosly and do what you must but yes, since S chrome is a big power leap for the ice team. And hes a powerful subdps on his own. Though if it comes to S chrome, pulling is weapon is more priority than getting him to ss with bc since gis weapon can actifate his debuff from qte, which helps alot in ppc
yeah make sure your teams are fleshed out. Your example with bianca and pet > s vera is just not a good idea. Making sure you have good teams for each element is important for norman since you cannot reuse characters.
Does Norman War replace Maze permanently or just this patch? Will another gamemode replace Norman War in 2 patches? I started playing a few weeks ago so I don't know.
Maze is permanently replaced by Norman war which appears biweekly mostly.
Very late question. How many shards do you get for dupes of pets/Cubs? Is it the same like for constructs? (i.e. A-rank=18shards, S-rank= 30shards?)

That's probably NOT gonna be how it works. Most of us are probably gonna be ignoring pets until the QOL update.
How pets worked on launch was that you get a pet "Orb" rather than a pet "button". They appeared in your Orb bar after 6 orb pings, shoving all your orbs to the left, and vanish when you use them. You also cannot store 2 stacks yet.

i got rosetta on the banner with 40 pity so i wanted to know if i should try to reroll my account for a better dps like alpha or plume or should i keep my account?
Rosetta is great! no need to reroll. Just save for S chrome now
Do the pet banners rotate like normal S rank banners or are they like weapon and trascendants banners?

First is to invest monthly serum card. :3 since serum is necessary to farm mem sets and Interlude shards. But if you f2p(force to play) consistent interlude shard farming is what you need to build budget happy meal Main dps.

You can but dont need to if you a bit low. Pet banner doesnt rotate out like constructs do, more like weapon banner.

Today I got Vera with 20 pulls, her sig with 20 pulls and with the rest of the BC, i rolled for toniris and frost oath, so its better to just evolve their skills first instead of the level? I often see Rosetta and her pet dealing some crazy one shots on PPC bosses and Toniris deals the most damage, right?
You can get pet level up materials with Norman. Level rosetta pet skills first since it does damage. Crane for now is enough at base since it's mainly for grouping.

Now that Norman War is out... Is it worth clearing it for a F2P like me? Because already I'm struggling because of the shark.
Clearing ex1 and 2 is enough just to get the hypertune. You can wait till near the end for batteries to clear the stages.
How many shards does it take to get a pet??? I have 10 for seashell but idk how many I need or how to turn shards into the pet

Well the longer the game goes on the more fleshed out the teams become and there's additional rotating buffs added in a later patch.

Probably too hard for beginners, just work on building those teams for now :)

Oh boy. I am so not ready for this type of content. My physical team is built up enough to hold its own, but my lightning team is pretty weak, and dark is almost non-existent with a Kamui who is max level, but barely built up in terms of leveled gear and a Luna who has no levels to go along with her signature weapon and almost maxed gear. I guess I'll have to really get to work on getting everyone to a usable state, because I can't be missing out on BC and the pet grind.
What pets should nier team use?
Depends. For now stun pet will be good anywhere

Investing into characters in this game is so expensive and time consuming and then having pets on top of that makes everything so much more painful.
So far I haven't even had the chance to invest into my pets on JP servers.
By the time I got to a point my new character is viable, the next patch is about to release lol
Can slowly upgrade pets, can't max them in one patch unless you got thousands of spare serum.
You're complaining about character progression in PGR? When resources are plentiful and easily gathered (but quickly consumed)? At least this isn't Honkai where you have to roll not only for the signature weapon, but also a complete set of three stigmata. Or Genshin where rolling for substats is a pain in the ass.

7500 BP recommended? Jesus. My strongest character is an SSS Camu with a maxed out Thanatos (got really lucky and pulled three copies of the weapon in a single ten-pull), and he barely breaks 7000. I know that Global is nearly one and a half years behind, but how the hell can 7500 average for multiple whole-ass teams even be possible? And to think I was feeling good about having most of my roster breaking 6500 after hypertuning...
This mode is more endgame stuff

Jesus fuck I only have 2 teams on the ready, and both are not even optimised yet, I have an incomplete fire team, a lightning team missing a tank, a suboptimal Nier. This going to be painful, maybe in a year I have enough to not suffer immaculate pain.

basically, norman war is only for long-time/veteran players
you can clear ex1 and 2 and get the hypertune rewards. The later stages are just some bc and weapon shards so your not missing too much

Fire: SSS Lee Palefire, S Nanami, S Sophia
Lightning: SS Bianca, SS Chrome, S Liv Lux
Ice: S Lucia Plume, S Changyu
Phys: Watanabe, Bianca Zero, A Liv
Nier: 2B, 9S, A2
Dark: Watanabe, Luna, Vera.
Each has been decently invested in save for Nier
