🎈3 tips for Cappadocia balloon experience🎈
① Is the probability of the balloon flying 30-50%? !
・The weather makes it easy to fly balloons from April to September.
・We went in January. There were only two flights in a week (operation rate 28.5%)
*The decision on whether you can fly or not on this day is made by the government's civil aviation agency, so all companies have a common understanding. The decision on whether or not the tour will take place will be made approximately at 14:00 the day before. However, there is a possibility of cancellation even on the morning of the day, so don't let your guard down!
②If you really want to ride a hot air balloon, consider extending your stay
We cannot control the weather.
If you really want to go on a hot air balloon ride, check the weather forecast and consider extending your stay if necessary.
There are two main things you should do when you decide to extend your stay.
① Check whether you can extend your stay at the hotel
② Confirm any changes to the means of transportation you have arranged afterwards.
We stayed an extra day so the balloons could fly and changed planes💦
Of course, an additional cost of about 10,000 to 20,000 was required...!
③About the balloon ride
Balloons only fly in the morning
Depending on the weather, the time you can stay in the sky will vary from 30 minutes to 1 hour.
The cost of the balloon experience is
It varies depending on the riding season, flight time (leaving before sunrise or after sunrise), number of people riding in one balloon, and approximate stay time in the air.
We recommend that you reserve the balloon tour you wish to participate in in advance.
(However, if you make a reservation yourself in advance, you will receive information on whether the tour will take place via email or WhatsApp, so always check it. *You can also make a reservation at the hotel counter.)
Ours was an off-season tour that departed before sunrise, so it cost around 18,000 yen.
The price included hotel pick-up, light breakfast, balloon ride, a glass of champagne after the balloon, and a commemorative certificate.
The altitude is 1,000m.

Get your guideの気球ツアーは日時指定の事前予約が必要だと思いますが、予約日に気球が飛ばなかった場合は無料で別日に振り替えられるのでしょうか？予約日に飛んでくれればいいのですが、飛ばなかった際のお金のやり取りが気になります😭💦
