See it is your 8th lord in the 10th so you can expect a lot of transformation and ups & downs on the work front. Rest, depends on Mars position in the chart.

If I follow the regular Vimshottari from jamna nakshatra, which does not work in my xase snyway, I am now a month apart from the end of Rahu MD. My Rahu is in the fifth house with moolatrikona Mars. The past 18 years have been a sequence of frustrations snd failure except for excellence in education. I went abroad for 7 years, but then was forced to return to homeland.

Maybe a conditional dasha works in your case if those specific conditions exist. There are other conditional nakshatra dashas. For example Ashottari dasha that applies to almost 25% of the individuals in the world. Vimshottari has still been given a universal application. You are in your Dasha sandhi phase for the next year and a half.

Yes my natal Rahu is in Kendra to lagnesh but not in lagna, however Ashottari does not make sense in my case. Kshema Vimshottari a bit more, perhaps.
