I struggled with depression for one year, In that time I lost the love of my life, I fell out with my parents, I almost killed my brother and I was a cutter because it had gotten to a point where physical pain was better than emotional pain. I bless God for all of you!!! Your comments really make me feel peaceful I'm a Ghanaian student who has been trying to pursue my education in the US. It was never easy. I'm the first born, n the first family member to ever to leave the country. N in a home filled with other relatives who despised me for reasons known only to them, it wasn't easy. Prayers were made. I dreamt awful dreams. The application process was getting more hectic. After one year of applying to schools with no reply, I almost wanted to wanted to give up. But God been so good, I got the school I desired.....the very school near my aunt!!! And during the US visa interview, where out of about 200 people present...including some few high school mates I knew. Many pple were rejected. The white interviewers were all frowns and scowls. I was a little shaky, but I said a silent prayer and moved on. When it was my turn, the interviewer was all smiles!!!! Within 5 minutes she gave me the visa!!!! That was a year ago. I'm still pursuing my education. God has been so good!!!

I overcame the death that want to take my son 2019 after spending close to two months in hospital with this song and other of Ada songs which I played ,prayed and watched everyday in the hospital. I'm a Ghanaian student who has been trying to pursue my education in the US. It was never easy. I'm the first born, n the first family member to ever to leave the country. N in a home filled with other relatives who despised me for reasons known only to them, it wasn't easy.
Prayers were made. I dreamt awful dreams. The application process was getting more hectic. After one year of applying to schools with no reply, I almost wanted to wanted to give up. But God been so good, I got the school I desired.....the very school near my aunt!!! And during the US visa interview, where out of about 200 people present...including some few high school mates I knew. Many pple were rejected. The white interviewers were all frowns and scowls. I was a little shaky, but I said a silent prayer and moved on.
When it was my turn, the interviewer was all smiles!!!! Within 5 minutes she gave me the visa!!!!
That was a year ago. I'm still pursuing my education. God has been so good!!!
