Incoming transfer to Haas here. Thanks so much for this! The clubs seem scary, I can't imagine being judged by my peers and rejected. The competitive aspect of Haas also seems negative, but I'm sure I'll be better for it in the long run and grow as a person. Thanks for the helpful advice!
Gooooo BEARS (Class of 2027 :) I thought that your guy's advice seemed extremely insightful and genuine, and applicable to freshmen like myself. An insight that I can draw from this is that connecting with so powerfully with friends (like guys have) can help you process your experiences.
