- Welcome to episode 2 on restoring the classic Porsche 911. In this episode we get stuck into stripping the underseal off the car as well as continuing to strip the parts from the car.
Yes, we found more rust..... Fantastic....
Check out the first episode here: • 1984 PORSCHE 911 Resto...
Thanks!
Thank you so much for the kind donation!!!
It's always amazing to see what lurks behind the exterior...
Anyone thinking of buying a classic car should watch this channel first.
Nice video! You’re going to town on that 911!
Nice one Ryan. Currently in Porsche heaven.
Thanks! :)
@@yorkshirecarrestoration Ryan. I still see the Orange Manta in the background. Was the Porsche film shot a while ago or has the customer not paid up yet?
@@7732147 none of those scenarios, he has brought it back for more work on the floor
I found a vibrating blade tool with a heat gun the best for undersea on a Porsche. Then a light pass with a wire wheel and it's done.
Always good always interesting
Great job.
Good update keep it up the good work 👍👍
Thanks 👍
It looks more like a Beetle without the flares on. Woah, super crusty indicator housing. They look like they were offering cathodic protection to the rest of the car. 👍
Amazing how nice that porker looked until you delved a little deeper it’s far from un repairable but it’s pretty rough and it’s a fair bit of work ! I must admit I actually thought these were aluminum bodied for some obscure reason guess I wrong on a gargantuan level 🤣
I can see Rodger behind! Is he back in or are the cars done at different times? 😊
This was filmed months ago. Roger has been and gone
Brilliant as always
Thanks again!
I bought a Contour SCT ages ago but I’ve only managed to use it once, briefly - the surge load on startup trips out the electrics in my unit every time 😕
I am watching your videos through your playlist so it’s about 6 months since you made them. That said I am curious who is the artist doing the background music in your videos?
I do enjoy your videos!
Algebra lesson from Cape Verde. Solve this equation (answer below):
YCR + RAC + BTP = TT
Answer: Yorkshire Car Restoration + Rum And Coke + By The Pool = Triple Threat 😂
I’m glad this video came out today because it will be our tenth wedding anniversary tomorrow and so watching it then might be seen as not being particularly attentive 😂. Funny breed, women 😜
Haha love it!!! I almost got it!
So have you given up on the Disaster Datsun? Its the reason i subscribed to this channel
Nope we have had other commitments like holidays and shows to keep us busy :)
@yorkshirecarrestoration well definitely looking forward to the next Datsun video.. hopefully it's an extra long one :)
That frost tool looks decent as that under seal is a bugger to get off normally.
There are two types of classic car. Ones that have been restored and ones that need restoring.
Looks like you pulled another night time session, but perhaps it wasn't too bad if you filmed it in January. Best wishes.
Was it that obvious? Yes I did an all nighter on this episode
Just in time for a nice chill and YCR!
Love it
Brilliant content as always 👍👍
Nice work as always! Gotta love a 911. By the way, will you work on that beautiful 2800CS in the background at some point?
We have already filmed an episode on that car. Not sure when to post it though
Yeah - @CrucibleCoachworks swear by their Eastwood flap stripper.
Love the Porsche content - reminds me that I do these for my fitness. Yeah right............
What's happening with the Furze car?
Returning soon
I’m loving all the content but I’m interested in when we see the disaster Datsun again also Tims Porsche & Matts BMW - an update. Still loving the music.
They are comming. We have had shows and holidays in the way of making content :) 👍
I like how you are stripping all these new projects but when are you going to continue with Colin Furzes car???
We have finished lots recently too. The Furze E30 will be back soon
any update on the disaster datsun?
What is the name of the music from 4.18 ?
Does it not appear whoever did the previous repairs actually attempted to repair it properly or am I just wishing.great video.still a nicer car to work on compared to majority of the ones that come through your business.just keep on doing what you do best.👍👍👍😎😎😎
In a few episodes time, you will see the extent of the bad repairs on the front
Let the rust hunt continue
When will there be an another video on Shmee150’s Porsche 914?
Soon we have had holidays and shows to do :) 👍
Beautiful car but a very scary car for the dreaded rust 😢
The underseal removal didn't seem to uncover much rust.
If you are the owner of this Porsche please make the logo under the rear bonnet light up when you hit the brakes . that would be amazing to see
That would be 😎
When do we see the finishing of the other restoratians, the Mazda Cosmo, the VW Porsche, the disaster Datsun and others you start with, you are starting with new projects but we almost never see the finishing of these cars.
Loving the new porsche content. Some of those parts looked horribly rusty.
👍🏻
Another great video, what’s happening with the white 911 🤔
It's coming we have had holidays and shows in the way of making content. :) 👍
Finally not a BMW STOPPED WATCHING
Sorry!
we have not seen colins car in a while. are you waiting on parts or did i some how miss something in you uploaded videos?
Nope nothing missed just holidays and shows in the way of making content. Next vid for colins car is next week. :) 👍
Where is mat Armstrong BMW
Returning soon
Beatiful car but..............WHEN IS THE RETURN OF THE DISASTER KING OF RUST 260Z????
Soon :)
@@yorkshirecarrestoration 😎👍💪
It's a Porsche, not Porsch.
Auto Alex cars still there stripped 😮
This video was filmed in January
Crusty.
All that and you still can't remove the wheels lol...
and everytime they need to move the car they will have to put them back on
Did you watch episode 1? It explains it there 😅
