- I bought ten pounds of tiger eye from gemcenterwholesale.com a few months back and decided to try to use this larger batch to attempt a few different finishes. The results were slightly surprising.

FYI. If you play, Eye of the Tiger while tumbling tigers eye, it goes way faster! Lol. One of my favorites!!! Nice!
hehe. Thanks! I was wondering how to speed them up.
Wow look at that shine ✨ You are on fire now 🔥 Thanks for sharing all your tips and success ! I am happy you finally got what you have been wanting to see on your tumbled rocks ! The best batch looks amazing 👍
Thank you! Hopefully I can help someone else get to success faster than me.
Tiger Eye was the first stone I ever bought (30+ years ago), still have it although now it's in two pieces after a much lighter Black Jet stone fell on it from a very short height. I've never seen a slab of rough Tiger Eye before, but as a high polished stone it's still one of my favourites to look at after all these years !!
Bummer about your original piece. You're right, it's always a stunner.
Oh wow!! The finishes are so shiny with aluminum oxide. I actually like both, though. Tiger eye is one of my favourites. Just like the earthy look to it. See you soon, Ken 😊
Thanks! They are always a winner, for sure.
TIP: With the mini sonic after tumbling w/ 90SC rotary, i use 220SC, 600AO, 1000AO w/ couple drops of dawn and then same with 8000AO.
Thanks!
