    I have been using Excel for over 15 years and I still consider myself a beginner. I recently left my job and am using this “in the meantime” period for professional development courses. Stumbling across your channel was the best professional development gift that I can give me self-a perfect start to 2022!
    I just completed your intro course and can see how I’ve wasted a great deal of time. I am a research administrator/analyst and work with data. After watching these video, I can only imagine the amount of time I have wasted. I cannot wait to get to more advance courses on pivot tables, dashboards, etc., which I hope will help me to prepare detailed projections and comprehensive budgets. Obrigada!

    Hi Mynda. Thanks for the cut, copy and paste tips. Always useful to review the different ways to do those procedures. I like to remember the keyboard shortcut ALT+H+FO to open/close the clipboard pane which has a lot of functionality, as you demonstrated, but remains hidden unless you take the steps to expose it. Excellent review. Thumbs up!

      Thanks for sharing the keyboard shortcut for the clipboard, Wayne! I'll try to remember that one.

    Love your videos, they are very helpful! Learned a really great trick in this video that was going to make my life much simpler. Special paste - paste link. I have several cogs spreadsheets that I condense into a few. Manually copy and paste every time. Not hard but annoying when I know there's probably a dozen better ways. I'm still learning with help from your videos! This one has me stumped though. Wondered if you might help me. Successfully pasted link instead of just the regular paste. When I change the original it automatically changes the data everywhere else. Easy peasy. However the files are now too big to attach to an email. I've googles like crazy and can't find anything helpful. Any wisdom you can offer on this would be greatly appreciated? Thanks in advance!!

      Glad you find my videos helpful, Sean! You could embed your spreadsheet in a web page instead of emailing it. I've got a video on that coming out next week, so keep your eye out.

    Hi Maam! Is there a way to copy multiple UUIDs from different cells in a sheet and paste them in a single cell of another sheet of the same workbook? Thank you for your wonderful videos! :)

    • @MyOnlineTrainingHub
      @MyOnlineTrainingHub  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, you can't copy multiple cells and paste them into a single cell, but you can use the TEXTJOIN function: www.myonlinetraininghub.com/excel-textjoin-function

    Hi, I have a problem with copy pasting. Maybe you can help me:
    If I want to paste and not overwrite data you showed the popup with the shift cell up or down. How can I activate this feature?
    In my german Version it does not seem to work.

    • @MyOnlineTrainingHub
      @MyOnlineTrainingHub  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This feature isn't something you turn off or on. I wonder if you're not placing your mouse on the edge of the cell border. You need to get the 4 headed arrow mouse pointer before left-clicking and dragging while holding shift.

    Hi Mynda, I hope you can help me with a small problem. I'm using Office 2013 on a new laptop. Every time I hit Copy the whole worksheet sort of jumps for a fraction of a second and then everything is OK. Paste works OK, but it's disconcerting and hard on the eyes to have the sheet jump around like that. Any ideas?

    • @MyOnlineTrainingHub
      @MyOnlineTrainingHub  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Tony, I'd say it's to do with the video driver settings. Hope that points you in the right direction.

    • @tonyscott5045
      @tonyscott5045 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for that Mynda - I'll look into it. I also opened an xls file that was giving me the problem and resaved it as an xlsx file and the problem went away, but other xls files are OK. Strange!

    • @MyOnlineTrainingHub
      @MyOnlineTrainingHub  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah, you don’t want to be opening it as a .xls avoid that format if possible.

    "There's no best way, it's completely up to you"? That's completely wrong. Cut and Copy of formulas have very different "consequences". Not knowing those difference is why I"m on youtube looking for a training video to help my colleague understand why she broke our template.

    • @MyOnlineTrainingHub
      @MyOnlineTrainingHub  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was referring to the "entry points" for cutting/copying/pasting, e.g. to cut you can CTRL+X or you can use the mouse and right-click > cut, or you can use the Home tab > click the Cut icon. That's 3 different entry points for cutting and there's no best way, it's completely up to you. Hope that clarifies things.
